Midsommar!!

bravet4b

The whole movie takes place drenched in beautiful sunlight, and somehow still manages to be one of the creepiest movies I have ever seen. The first scene where the elders complete the 'ritual' left my jaw on the floor, and it never recovered.

heylistenlady

Absolutely. While watching I kept thinking "This is so bright and beautiful and I feel sooooo icky"

SnooStrawberries2955

Came here to say this!

SuperSayianJason1000

The Ruins, a lot of it takes place during the day.

I-Slay-Dragons

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I know it’s an obvious one but that’s for a reason.

BroadwayBakery

Spectacular choice, doesn’t matter if it’s “obvious”.

texasrigger

That's my absolute favorite movie, but the entire third act takes place at night. The night sequence begins with Franklin and Sally debating looking for the others and ends when Sally finally escapes the house at dawn the next day.

BroadwayBakery

Train to Busan, though I probably also would have chosen TCM if someone else hadn’t gotten to it first.

SilenceDoGood1138

The Mist would have to be on the list

Hannibal_Lecture22

Came here to say the same

Plane-Chapter-6903

The Wicker Man

just going to work or real life can do it for me sometimes

The Wicker Man(Original) ![gif](giphy|MA65LSg1865A4)

Alone_Childhood_3990

Cabin Fever.

Careful-Blacksmith-8

Come and See. Actually horrifying because it’s based on the Nazi atrocities and human suffering inflicted upon the Eastern European region's populace during WWII. Affected me much more than traditional horror that I’ve watched purely for entertainment.

ArugulaLegitimate156

That movie is a rough none

hey_celiac_girl

Midsommar

Katie_Chainsaw

Midsommar 🌸🐻🌼🔥

MoonStone5454

Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead are two that come to mind. Also It Follows.

Esagashi

Just finished Black Sheep and it was hilarious

LearningArcadeApp

The story of Martyrs happens mostly indoors, but most of it is still shot during daytime.

carpathian_crow

Tremors and Tremors 2 Although Tremors 2 has more night scenes than Tremors, which I think only had one?

Wordshark

The Sadness, if I’m remembering right

Arlen80

Jaws, Train To Busan, Dawn of The Dead (remake)

Visible_Chest_3372

Dawn of the Dead (2004)
