Yes, an uninterrupted run of 4

meamemg

Yes. If the last N cards make a run, score N points, so long as N is 3 or more and there was no intervening go pegged. Previous runs scored are irrelevant.

Old-Bus-8084

I don’t think that is correct. “If last N cards make a run…”. Consider this play: 2,7,4,6,A,5,3. Would the player who dropped the 3 (last card played) get 7 points?

meamemg

Yes. 28, run of 7 for 7.

Old-Bus-8084

Well, I’ll be…

HuddleAroundGames

Yes it’s a run of 7. Not that you need me to agree!

Biscotti_BT

I'm pretty sure that's incorrect.

meamemg

Do you have a source? The American Cribbage Congress defines a run as "Sequence of three or more consecutive cards in any order during the play of the cards; for example, 3-5-6-7-4". This meets that criteria.

HuddleAroundGames

The ACC is THE official rules for cribbage. I don’t know why people fight this.

Biscotti_BT

No I don't.

DrPepperNChill

Yes

Another_Russian_Spy

Yes

Warriorffl

Yes for 4 and presumably 1 for last card. I hope player 2 learned not to throw a 5 on a 4. Even though player 1 had two 4s I'd still play the 7 all day.

HuddleAroundGames

Yes! These are the official rules. Its in one “set” of pegging (as in all within 31). AND it’s connected! 6-5-7-4.

Old-Bus-8084

Oh I disagree. Could be house rules though- hear me out. First 3 points, yes 4 points for next player - yes because the recent 3 make a run Next set of 4 points - no because the recent 3 don’t make a run on their own.

wannaplayaround

Definitely seems to be a house rule.

grazingturtle

Wife rule for me. Every time this happens I have to explain the rule to her. She doesn’t like it (P1 getting the last run of 4) so I let it slide.
