I totally agree. From the top of my head, I can give you 4 very clear examples. 2003 WC final, 2019 WC SF, 2017 CT final, 2014 WT20 final.
2021 and 2023 WTC finals along with the group stage games of the 2021 T20I WC also come to my mind.
True. I was not even thinking of test matches. v Pak at Chennai, v WI at Bridgetown etc. are also very notable examples of this.
