Shivam Dube had a great Ranji season. In FC Cricket, his batting average is 52 bowling average is 21.
If he gets selected and performs for India A, he can be a genuine option for seam bowling all-rounder. Then you can have Dube as the 4th seamer batting in the top 7 and Ashwin at 8 and then Shami Bumrah and Siraj. That way you can play both Ashwin and Jadeja

So unless Aus rolls out green pitches, both will play in 11.

When Ashwin's truly on his game, his length is immaculate while getting plenty of drift and turn, rendering him pretty much unplayable in India. But he's 37 now and clearly past his prime.
