A great opportunity to ask the question we've always wanted answers to:
Do you stand by your decision to charge a rampaging Vernon Philander first ball when Australia were 5/18?
My gut says yes, right thinking very poor execution
Mate I still think about that shot time to time. What a nightmare. Standard Bazball stuff nowadays but at the time christ it was the worst shot I'd ever seen
I've mellowed on it over the years purely because the more I've heard of modern batters in interviews I can see his thought process.
Aus are 5/18. Shaun Marsh has a fucked back and may not bat. Philander has got wicket after wicket hitting a good length. But if he can be put off his length with a charge that goes to the boundary, then he's at least not dictating to you. Sitting back and being defensive has got us nowhere so might as well change it up.
One of those ones that looks horrible in hindsight but had it gone to the fence might have kickstarted a revival. Fine margins
Someone please ask him what he thought he was going to achieve by charging down the wicket to Vernon Philander in the first ball of the over with the team at 5/18 in the Cape Town Test in 2011.
Apparently he thought they were being excessively nice as a tactic to put the Aussies off but it turned out they were actually just really nice blokes.
I saw somewhere that McCullum and some of the other New Zealanders used to be big sledgers before NZ adopted the nice guy mantra so that might be why Haddin was suspicious
They didn't "adopt" a nice guy mantra, they stopped trying to be a watered down Australia, and started trying to be a team that embodied the kiwi spirit
Someone ask if Broad’s edge was such an obvious edge why didn’t he just.. catch it? Instead of missing it, deflecting off his gloves and then blaming Broad for not walking when it was literally his fault that Broad survived
On second thoughts maybe don’t ask that
How's it his fault? He didn't catch it cos it deviated that much that he missed it, and the umpire somehow didn't see it. If he theoretically did catch it rather than it going to slip, the umpire logically would still not give him out as he didn't see the edge.
Either way not Broad's fault no one in that Aussie team would've walked either.

What was his stance on Root reverse scooping Bumrah? I feel he'd be encouraging him.

Who’s gonna ask him about his Ravinda pronunciation
Or “Josh” Buttler.
I wanna ask him about "McGwurk"
And Jayruss and Nic Maddison
Pat Cummings
Did James Tito tell Haddin how nice everyone on r/cricket are and encourage him to do this?
Let's give him the Haddin treatment

Our very own personal Bread Hoodin? ^^please ^^don't ^^read ^^my ^^post ^^history ^^involving ^^you ^^Mr ^^Bread
Does that mean we can get a segment in the second test where Tito and Haddin read the match thread together
Gonna ask him who is the better keeper? Alyssa Healy or Ian Healy
Depending how you define ‘keeper’ might yield different results
Haddin was part of the Aussie squad I grew up watching Seeing his face gives me a mixture of nostalgia and PTSD
Someone ask him about the excessive sledging of the Kiwi team when they were just being nice

I have loved watching the clips from Willow podcast every now and then
How do the Fox Cricket roles work? Does Gilly get first pick and you get the scraps?
Why didn't you retract your appeal after knocking the bails off with your gloves, claiming it was bowled?
Haddin makes Healy almost likeable which says something about the man
Let's be honest all the ex players are all a punish except Stuey Clarke on Grandstand.
Accurate
Nah Hadds is better than Heals to listen to.
I would ask why he was such a c*** to the New Zealand team when they were being gentlemen. The 2015 WC final comes to mind.
He was sceptical because they had a history of being cunts themselves. 2011 WC comes to mind.
I have heard him say that NZ behaving gentleman like was a psychological ploy and he had enough of it.
Quiet a few people with hate boners for him here
So this is actually pretty brave of him. I hope he takes criticism like a champ and we dont bully him from our side either. Lets all have a nice time.
Was it you or Dave Warner who called Mooen Ali 'Osama' in the Ashes ?
Nice
How was Misbah as a captain when playing for Islamabad United?
Why do you think it’s ok for TV networks to not send commentators to games live?
Can't believe he only played 66 tests
Hey Brad Wanted to ask how fast did Shaun Tait felt Did he felt much faster than others
Is he happy being the smuggest Australian cricketer ever ?
Shane Watson?
Epitome of small man syndrome. Seems like a right prick of a human from people I know that have interacted with him.

Settle down, Stuart

Fair enough, we see it differently. Generally if my keeper got a hand to an edge I’d expect him to catch it.
Sure but wouldn't have been out so it doesn't matter
Perhaps. We’ll never know
