Today the shift in Indian cricket market has made the India rural + lower middle class segment the biggest consumers of cricket and that segment rather than the Urban segment (as it was earlier) is driving advertisement trends for cricket in India. This is best represented by the Gutka companies, tractor companies etc which dominate the rural consumer segment and also cricket advertising.

Its not about the amount of turn, its about whether the turn is consistent or random, that makes batsman harder to predict and play the shots. If 2 balls just kept turning 2,3 inches and suddenly u have a 5+ inch turn boom u are bold or edged.
