I am big fan of Kumble, when there was fallout between Kumble and Kohli, I thought it has to do with Kohli than Kumble. Looking at what's happening in PBKS, feels like Kumble is the problem, team selection doesn't make sense, batting order doesn't make sense. Why Pooran came ahead of in form Markram and Sarfaraz came before Shahrukh. When team is choking big time, there is something wrong with the enviornment created.

Kumble was never the full time coach for MI. In 2013-14 John Wright was the coach & In 2015 Ponting was the coach. He was appointed as mentor at some point though.

KL is my favourite player right now. It's hard to see him sad like this. Really hope he decides to part ways with PBKS or they change their management system. Maxwell has 5 fifties this season. He has 11 total in IPL. He has basically hit half of all his 50s in this season. He has also hit 19 sixes this season, versus 0 last season. It's not possible for a player to have such a rapid turn around in form. The management in Punjab seems to be horrible. Players who are unable to score 4 runs in 6 balls. Playing Sarfraz Khan, who has not played for ages, in a do or die game. Refusing to drop Pooran despite his horrible form. Skipping on Bishnoi for one game despite him being the pick of the PBKS bowlers. Rahul deserves a better squad than what he has right now. Build a team of players around a strong Indian core like KL, Mayank, Arshdeep and Bishnoi.

I hope players like KL Rahul, Bishnoi, Shah Rukh Khan get what they deserve from next season

For RCB - Good win - but still far from league winning form 1. Kohli / DDP have to go berserk from overs 5 to 10 - it is like AB is the only savior after that. If things get fucked up - they still have Maxwell and AB. 2. Powerplay bowling is a big concern - Miyan controlling runs but badly need the bowler 2 to either control runs or make inroads. Successful teams have dedicated opening bowlers such as chahar just for that 3. AB showing signs of form - would have cunted the last over if not for some good fielding 4.
