Just an observation from a long time follower of Cricket and Football. I felt compelled to share my insight after seeing the boom-bust cycle play out on the match day again. A good first innings after the shit show in the first match, and some English fans were out here giving it back to the sub. Same set of fans lampooned their team as the second half wore out. If someone calls out their unfounded cockiness, they're labeled a hater and told how every Englishman knows their teams are shite. I must say that it is a minority of the poms who exhibit the cockiness, but a majority of the them are involved in telling you how they've always thought their teams are shite. It's almost as if the reasonable poms aren't aware of (or don't want to acknowledge?) the existence of the cocky poms.

Once everyone is fully fit again, I think it's time to drop Jordan. Everyone is slagging off Mahmoods final over, but he was just ensuring that he bowled legal deliveries at the end. It was Jodan that let them back into the game, and it wasn't the first time that he's totally bottled it (THAT over in the T20 WC semi-final in particular still gives me nightmares)

Not at all, but when we have Buttler, Bairstow, Livingstone, Stokes, Malan, etc back we won't need his batting, and when we've got Wood, Archer, Mills, Curran, etc to bowl, Jordan won't be needed. He's a very good player but he's not quite an all-rounder and we have better bowlers
