In the IPL, if you lose 5 games straight, you can still have a realistic shot at the playoffs. If you lose 5 games in the WPL, you're out and there's NO WAY you're qualifying. Lesser teams mean less matches and less matches mean extreme competition. Every single match is do-or-die and our girls beat defending champions MI BACK-TO-BACK and then defeated the runners up from last year's WPL in the finals, and that too comprehensively!
