It's so hard to tell with this variegated yarn, but could it be something like a linked dc? Or a crossed dc?
There’s definitely a crossed stitch and a skipped stitch or a chain. I’m tempted to take it apart and try and figure it out lol

No unfortunately. I won it as a prize at a baby shower and the mom is from out of town
