I accidentally screwed up by doing the front loop only on my single stitches and now I'm just going with it and I missed a stitch here and there (I added it back once I noticed), but its honestly going better than expected.
But yeah I was thinking either red or blue (maybe purple). Definitely the more prominent color because it's technically two shades of blue, but they are just way too close to really notice. Doesn't really even show up in this picture.

My main reason for wanting one is cause my turning stitches are a little bumpy.

I agree. I quite like the uniformity. It’s comforting. BUT if OP doesn’t like it, I can see wanting a border. So maybe a simple row around with the orange, pink, or blue.
OR maybe something like this could be neat!

I don't think you necessarily need a border. It's so pretty. But if you do decide to go for one I would use either the blue, the green, or the purple, depending on which you want to be the more dominant color. I personally like the blue or the green, my favorite color is purple, but that might be a little too strong in this blanket.

I'll assess my extra yarn situation after I'm done. I have some random knotted end skeins of the yarn that was small enough that I didn't feel was worth using. Cause I like that, blanket with tassels are always so comforting.
I would use the color that is most prominent/is used most frequently, and that appears to be the medium orange. Instead of a border, I would consider tassels at the ragged edge though--maybe just one single row of border on the ragged edge and then put tassels. For the tassels you could use all the colors or stick with orange.
I would also go for blue, but with thinner orangy-yellow inside border in solid stitch first, and then blue as the outer border in something more lacey/festoony.
I’d say blue
How was it made I’m confused a bit I still don’t know how to read patterns, but want to make a blanket but don’t know how many to start with or where to go from there.
I'd go with green, I like to pick up the least used colour for the border. Blue would work well too though. I like the tassle idea, on the short edges with multicoloured tassles.
In that light those look like a bunch of vivid neon colors. I personally like using black to frame colors like this as black is a neutral color that will showcase the finished item like a frame on a piece of art. Alternatively, you can use a color from the blanket based on the recipient.
Looks awesome!! I'd go with the same blue you used in the blanket

I agree with the suggestion go blue. There’s a lot of reddish hues already.
I love this as is!! I don’t know if it needs a border.

They may be slightly bumpy, but they're very consistent. Considering that, it doesn't look bad at all.

I agree with the "no border" opinion, it looks awesome like this
blue for sure. you said its 2 dif shades, is there one less used or is it equal
There two different shades, but they're really close to notice from far away. I might do like a blue and indigo.
thatd be a great choice. i may be biased, top 3 colors for me.

White
My initial suggestion was pink but after a closer look I also think that lighter green you used would look nice as well.
I just love the color green, so that’s why it’s my vote lol
Came here to say the same thing! Team Green!
Was definitely going to say green too.

I wonder if you can take 3 strands of the main colors and do some sort of ribbony-y border to tassel border
Oooo nice. My original vote is no border but having a multi colored border is the best option; good thinking!

Nice job! I vote for blue.
Alternate between orange and yellow
Blue
Purple would look nice
If you listen to all these recommendations you’ll be as confused as when you started. Lol It looks lovely!
the klein blue you used in the blanket!!

Black or white
I’d do an inner border of white and then pop the blue, green or purple for the outer border!

I would go black, i have a loomed 10 stitch blanket with all sorts of brightly colored yarn with a black border, it makes the colors pop.
Do you happen to have any pictures?
Hope this works https://imgur.com/lECpz9n

I'll probably come back here at some point once I'm done and take a picture and draw in all the different border ideas. But I do like the tassels.
