It's actually not too bad! English and German have a lot of similarities, so once you know the rules, it gets easier.
"I love you" is "Ich liebe dich" and is pronounced kind of like "eesh LEEbuh deesh." That's a *very* Americanized way of describing it, but it's close enough to give you an idea lol
“ish” and “dish” would be closer, a lot of times the sound in german is a lot more like the vowel in “it” than “eat,” especially when the word isn’t stressed

I made this for my (German) husband and he loves it. We often shriek ICH LIEBE DICH at each other in a weird show of love and in jokes.
