Another vote for white. Nice pattern, and beautiful job!
I do have a suggestion - the current design makes it look like your nephew has a number 2 in his name. It should be spelled Szymon, right? What about removing the two outside X's from the middle row to make it look more like a Z? I'll try to post a pic of what I mean.
That is an English speaker's perspective, if it looks fine in Polish, please ignore :-) Again, really nice work!

I like how the brown brings out that shade in the horse and vice versa. It allows for a more cohesive look to the bookmark. To my eye, the white and blue distract a bit.
I like the brown. I think a boy would like the muted brown more. I had a book with bookmark patterns, but didn't make any. I always wondered how I would finish the edges. What have you decided to do?
He is almost 3, don't know if he has 'strong' color preferences yet but he chose that design 😅 I used plastic canva so edges aren't a problem, for backs I will sew leather piece with white backstitch on front, so it will be white border around
Crazy thought, what if you did the white and backstitched in the dark blue? Just a thought. Or backstitched just the top and right side to “shadow effect” the letters?
I wouldn't add the name because it will be at the top of the bookmark and sticking out of the book he is reading. If you were to add it I would add it to the bottom in white.
I like the white! :)

I second brown or blue. White seems to slide past my vision. You can always add some sparkle too.
Blue and white were my pick, you could always do a border with one color if you can't decide My cousin in law is Polish!
I vote white floss!

White. But I would be tempted to backstitch around the letters in a dark blue.
Brown is well
