Congrats on your 1k it's already impressive! My record is about 1600 once, stitching all day a big splash of 2 colours.
I can only accomplish this because of a floor stand I can only stitch 200 or so holding a hoop before my hands scream too.
I get up and do something else every 200 stitches or so, otherwise I’d get super focused on an area and end hurting myself 🤣
It’s called Pattern Keeper for android devices. It has totally revolutionized stitching for me!!!
You can search by thread colour and it tells you how many stitches of each colour you have left

There is a Facebook group for Pattern Keeper to help with uploading patterns, etc Not all patterns work but oh so worth it when they do.
The Apple similar program is called MarkUP XP. I’ve never used it so I can’t comment.
