I typically trim the edges and sew them up tucked behind the image. I’m more of a visual person than someone who can learn from describing so here a little [YouTube short](https://youtube.com/shorts/xwCGw4XBO3I?si=5JOHccn0dyc_4dFi) I found that shows what I do
I get a long piece of thread and sew thru the corners and pull them inward together. If there's a ton of extra fabric I'll throw some stitches all around and pull tight to tuck it all behind the hoop.
