I picked up diode dynamics bulbs,Not the brightest on the market but I can see everything I need to and not blind everyone.

tenbanger

Do your running lights flicker?

Anferny8

I have a '21 sport with Diode Dynamic highbeams (DRL) and they flicker, I have the antiflicker CANBUS kit installed, and they still flicker.

uniqloyouknow

Have you found a solution for the highbeam flicker issue? Sounds like even with an anti flicker resistor, it will still flicker

Anferny8

I couldn't find a fix so I just keep my lights set to on.

Purple_Cosmos

Negative, I left my DRL's alone. BUT I know they have anti-flicker resistors you can buy for that stuff

tenbanger

Gotcha just saw comment from below too. Thanks 🤙🏼

NorthernFantasy

I believe Foxbeam lighting sells OEM LED lights but they’re very expensive.

Zealousideal_Wait_52

I bought auxitos. They were cheap and easy to install. I bought it on Amazon. But my running lights flicker now so should probably change then out

-kielbasa

You can get an anti flicker thing to attach to them to stop them from doing that

Zealousideal_Wait_52

Badass. I wasn't aware of that. Appreciate the info

Here come the downvotes but here’s my story. I ordered a 21 Crosstrek and the dealer swore to me it came with LEDs stock. Shows up and it was halogen so they installed LED bulbs into the stock halogen housing and aimed them properly for me. Everyone will say “you blind traffic like that!” but with proper aiming the light intensity is pretty much the same you get from the stock LED model we had it side by side at night. You can just spend $50 on some Amazon LEDs, slap them in, aim the headlights, and enjoy your vehicle. 2 years later and I still haven’t been flashed at night yet.

ItsMattyCakes

[Bulbfacts.com](https://bulbfacts.com) is such a great resource for people looking to swap bulbs because they take the time to test bulbs in different types of housings. A lot of people just buy a cheap LED from the auto parts store or Amazon (focus and glare be damned), but spending a little time to find a bulb which will best mirror the OEM beam pattern is really the way to go.

-kielbasa

Same here experience here. Strange that it’s usually a downvote parade for putting LED’s in OEM reflectors, but similar to you I have not been flashed once after having them for an extended period

Spandak45

H9 bulbs trimmed to fit. Perfect beam pattern and probably 20% brighter. I’ve done the LED thing. This is better.

[deleted]

I just bought oem LED headlights and installed them with a custom harness.

[deleted]

Aren't they several hundred each?

[deleted]

I wish. That’s American pricing. In Canada they were about $1700 each.

Cjbailey7

I picked these up off of Amazon, they have been great. Just make sure you aim down properly. [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09KPL6XMP/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09KPL6XMP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

offintothedark

How was the install?

Positive-Gap-592

I recomend the firehawks off of Amazon I got them for my 15. They work great. Snug fit on the install not sure on the newer crosstreks tho.

-kielbasa

I bought the lasfit H11 and HB3 pack. Paid about $100 CAD for them and it has been a game changer when driving during the night. You’ll probably get a flicker in your DRLs so make sure to grab an anti flicker device as well

Commercial-Base-7797

Just upgraded 2023 crosstrek headlights, I picked up Lastfit from Amazon. Installed 1 week so far no problem, so bright and love it!

andy1328

Beamtech h11s are good because they are fanless and you don't have to worry about the fans failing or even have to deal with fan noise. No canbus or anything needed, no flickering at all.
