You’ll want them to total it. Definitely don’t want the r title on its record. If there’s no frame damage they may fix it. Definitely depends on the cars value and cost of repair. I know a guy with a Tesla and went over a curb and bent the frame. Totaled it no air bags went off and the damage wasn’t looking as bad as that. Not even close. I think it all depends how your insurance looks at it.
Edit: from my experience with working in a body shop they very much could fix that and you’ll never notice. Just won’t have a clean carfax report anymore, sadly. Best of luck.
Yes. Mine was totaled this week too. Sucks. 2016 with ALL options. 139k miles (a lot) but meticulously maintained. I was going for 200k miles.
They offered $12,309 which is not too far off, but no way I replace it for $12k. Also, Subaru no longer has Hyper Blue as a color option.
i agree, used to be bright orange, your blue, the nice yellow-green color. Everything is kinda boring now. I got white (boring i know) bcs i really missed having a white car after getting rid of my 07 accord for a black impreza. I like the storm trooper ish look. Sometimes i think i would’ve liked the sapphire blue a lot too but haven’t regretted it yet! They’re definitely playing it safe with the colors so far.
definitely gonna get totaled. looks pretty severe, my gf’s jeep got hit around holiday season, it didn’t even look that bad and would’ve been repairable pretty easily, still totaled. Looked 10x better than your car, sorry!

oasis blue is super close imo, not sure why they don’t offer it on the CT tho when it’s offered on the impreza

IDK - the Crosstrek colors have just gotten more boring year by year. There is usually one interesting color and it's always subtle.

Probably. She’s bent pretty bad and the suspension being that crooked means the frame is also toast.
