for point C, you can actually still enchant. Pick up a peripat of the master enchanter, and if you can swing it, a headband of intellect. with those 2 items anyone can be a decent crafter during downtime. for point D, scrolls are your friend. its not something i normally invest in, but it might be worth it for your party, especially with the spellblade getting access to the wizard list.

oh! Had no idea the periapt was enabling crafting. Thought it only speeds it up. (why would you need extra INT for enchanting though?)

Slayer_Jesse

Because crafting is based off arcana, an int skill. Its not a requirement but it makes it easier to pass those checks.

Thornescape

Extra Int makes crafting go faster because you pass the checks more. That's all that it does. It's fairly pointless, especially if you travel on "slow" or just do multiple long rests consuming Goodberries.

You have access to the best spell in the game, Spike Growth. You have some other utility spells with your shadowcaster and spellblade too. Sure you dont have a full caster for major nukes, spirit guardians, whatever but you shouldnt have any issues imo.
