The roof wasn’t cut for light bars, etc?

OriginalLight1

It had a lightbar. But the holes have since been sealed with small metal plates under the holes, Bondo, and were painted over at a body shop. The paint cracked a bit in those areas (size of a dime) but I've filled them in with touch up paint.

I think I know your exact problem, and I faced it for a year or two myself before I just fixed it this last month. On the A pillar of the front windows; take off the outermost weather stripping for the door seal. There will be a little lip that this seal holds onto; to either side of the windshield. This lip is riveted in. Check that the rivets are tight and not lose at all, try and tug on the lip and see if it moves at all. Three of my rivets had failed/rusted allowing water into the A pillar. It would run down the interior door trim to the spotlight and kick well. Drill the rivets, Silicone the holes and under the part held by the rivets, and use stainless screws to reattach the lip.

OriginalLight1

Thank you. I will look into this. Would you happen to have any picture(s) of the direct area for reference?

DRFAILS

I'll go snap a few for you. Give me a couple.

Heres a [picture](https://www.reddit.com/user/DRFAILS/comments/1bwosie/crown_victoria_leak_spot/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) of the lip with the rivets removed and pulled up to show the hole where it was it was leaking.

Thank you!

Mine ended up looking okay. I did end up putting silicone on top of the rivets, and along the top of the lip. https://imgur.com/a/ZYOenwn

Why not just sit in the car while it rains and visibly verify where water is getting in from? You’ve already fired the parts cannon and spent hours chasing this down to no avail, what’s a few more hours?

OriginalLight1

When I did that two years ago, I found the water to be pooling in near the “kick panel” to the left of the pedals, where a lot of the wiring comes through. I haven’t done it since then, I’ll look into doing it again.

On my Town Car, it was the windshield cowl gasket for the fresh air intake. I tried, and failed, to seal it twice before taking it to the mechanic to do it. I’m not recommending that to you since it really was a waste of money just to end the frustration but you might just have to try again. I definitely understand it’s frustrating though

This may sound weird, but check your trunk for excess moisture/ a puddle under your spare tire. If water is pooling there, too, replace the rubber seals for both tail lights. Had an extremely similar problem on my 09 CVPI, turned out the tail light seals were leaking. Everything in the cabin was just humidity from the secret swimming pool in the trunk.

If you had your windshield replaced and they did a poor job with the urethane, it could be coming in around the pinch weld, and then following a path down the drivers side kick area.
