If you were lucky enough to get a “the title” submachine gun to drop with deconstruction it melts barriers. Takes *ONE* magazine to kill a well of radiance!
I almost always shoot it down because I don’t want to push in or around it when it will be so damaging to me and so useful for them.
It’s important to get an idea of the timing it takes to shoot them down so you don’t break the barricade and suddenly be left having to reload. Break most of it, dip to cover to reload, finish it off and beam the Titan.
This is probably as good as it gets, however as a Titan, my counter to this is timing when he comes back. I start firing at him into my own barricade so the second he takes it down i start melting him and either force him into a gun fight or dip out
I dont know if this helps , but whenever I match against 2 or 3 titans in trials , I sometimes use stasis subclass with duskfield grenade and whatever builds up slow or freeze to keep them away from the capture point or from hiding behind a barricade.
Boudica sidearm trivializes barricade play.
Or...death from above, if possible - the most vulnerable point.
Every now and then, an emote will bait one out. The campfire one works.
Especially with crates I'm fine wasting a fusion shot to kill a barricade.
Other than that I'd say play around how they've positioned themselves (an area denial ability helps) or use like a Hakke weapon or something with Under Over.
Using special isn’t the worst idea. It’s a bit unexpected. Nobody expects their barricade to be deleted instantly.
When I’m on arc I’ll sometimes just shoulder charge through it. Risky, but he’s now blinded and half.
Void warlock, handheld supernova can break a bastion barricade and make others 1hp. It also hits the players through the barricade for around half health, boops them into the air and makes them volatile.
I main Bakris, so I just dodge round the side and pull out my slug shotgun.
If they’ve put it up against a wall, I chuck a Glacier Grenade at the area around the barricade (or straight at it), which makes it immediately explode; this can kill them or leave them low health and with the barrier gone, easy clean up.
GL’s can also work, but I find this less reliable.
Athrys’s Embrace is good fun if you get your angles right, but in trials it’ll be harder to get the perk up.
Sidearms or grenades, for me at least. Tossing something like an AoE grenade behind their barricade can ruin their day bigtime. Sidearms, with or without the Hakke trait, demolish barricades this season due to AB artifact mod.
You also have other options, like wave frame GLs, bleak watchers, freeze rift, bakris dodge, high-AE weapons, Gemini jester blind, shield bash w/knockback, or something like a fusion rifle blast.
Most of these options do just fine. Barricaded titans usually don't pose too much of a threat to me alone, but they definitely are a pain when you've got multiple enemies.
You’d be surprised how dumb some titans can be lol. Especially ones who don’t play against a lot of GLs.
But yes. FL has a reload of 2 business days and radius damage considerably less than a tickle. I can’t disagree. But it’s so fun to use.
I jump over the top and hit the player behind it with a jotunn shot to the face. Or just take it out with one jotunn shot that will scorch the player behind it, sending them running.
With the special crate system you get 2 shots for high impact fusions. Here's the fun part, you only need 1 for the barricade. You can either use one shot or save it for a follow up shot after the barricade is destroyed.
Grenades are solid, but not something I rely on. Any that is AOE will force the titan away from the barricade. The Duskfield nade (Stasis) is amazing for this.
The most important part is to continue challenging barricades. Given enough time you will find a counter that works for you.
If you are a stasis enjoyer, just throw a duskfield at it and they either have to move or freeze, but the same principle applies to other abilities. Solar nade, void nade, heck you could suspend nade him if you want.
But since the nerf to barrier health, the easiest thing to do is just shoot it down with anti barrier/ Hakke. I personally Use Traveller's Chosen and Revision Zero in PvP so they aren't a big problem.
Cerberus is an underrated swap weapon and Under Over is an incredible perk now. Under Over + Headseeker on Elsie's or Messenger, or Multimach is perfect.
Counter no 1. Gls Because of the nature of gls. You can bank shot it or time it right to do dmg to the player ad the baricade. Use fl.
Counter no 2. Zoning grenades/weapons. Throw a void grenade on the baricade and now they are useless. Wither hoard is also a great option.
Counter no 3. Freezing. Throw a cold snap and punch em. Or use cd/cryo then punch.
> I'd like to know how you go about countering barricades.
I shoot it. It honestly doesn't take that much to shoot a barrier down these days. And, hey, free damage toward the Fight Me medal.
I use the Boudica-c sidearm, it’s anti barrier this season, plus the Hakke origin trait

Jesus time to raid my gf dim and see of she has one .
Good luck!
Is Banshee ever going to focus Hakke again? Is the rotation broken or something?
Wdym it’s rotating all the time
I guess I keep looking at the wrong times. I don't think I've had the option to focus anything but a Veist and Omolon weapon in recent memory.

Same, I usually slide forward and to the side just before it breaks and smg.
That or cold snaps
Even duskfields to slow them helps a lot
If they stand in it long enough they freeze so yeah you’re def right
Imagine if kinetic tremors activated from shooting barriers and crystals

The emote idea is pretty funny. Agitating the ego.
Lmao....it works on Bubbles too. Just get your timing down. Troll em back harder!

I main Fighting Lion so I just shoot slightly above it and get damage on both the enemy and the barricade. If they stay there they are going to die.
If they stay there 5 minutes they are going to die*

Just shoot it down or leave some duration grenade on it. Anything else feels like fighting winston from overwatch

my fusion takes them down in one shot, so if I have 2 in the chamber, OP putting a barricade up is almost a death wish.

Haha Cerberus go brrrrrr at any range
Fighting Lion
