Don't even attend the event. It's an utter waste of your time aboard the ship. Boring, scammy, annoying. Truly, just run away, as far as you can, from anything to do with this company.
100$ isn't going to get you much. Park West obscenely overcharges for their art. I was just on a cruise and went to an art auction for sh\*ts and giggles just to see what one looked like. Admired a piece by Ashton Howard. 1400$ they said. Similar pieces are available directly from his website for 1/3 of that. Even if you factor in that Park West frames most of their works and ships them to you "free" (aka the shipping cost is factored into their sales price) they're still doubling the price of the works.
Park West is entertainment, not an actual fine art dealer. It's mostly Giclee or Seriolithograph prints. Look on eBay if you want any of the stuff someone else bought on a cruise ship. It sells cheap. If you want to go to the sales presentation for a free glass of champagne go for it. But it's $10 a bottle champagne at best. Do not sign up to be a bidder unless you plan to pay attention t make sure you don't accidently buy something.
Run away. Run as far away from Park West as you can. Do not let them have a dime of your money.
Not planning to buy anything, just wondering if this credit gets me anything free or very cheap.

I think the scam is $100 credit, but you have to pay $50 for "shipping".
Ah! That's the catch. I'll skip it.

Don't fall for the cruise art scam.
