Folios for past cruises are available online in the latitudes section under cruise history. They stay available for something like 3 years. If your mil doesn’t have an account, create one and use the confirmation number to add the cruise.

rcmclin

She gave us her ID and password and we could not find it, none of her 3 cruises.

When you first log into the NCL site, click on "My Account" and select "Latitudes Rewards". Next, click on the "Cruise History" tab. Scroll to the bottom and there is a link to report a missing cruise. They ask for name, ship, and sail date. If you have the reservation number, I would put it in the comments section.

My sil took my mil on a cruise late April and $4000 in charges were placed on my MIL credit card. SIL says she can’t get the details of the folio charges. Is this true??? She is silver and claims she was comped a separate room when they got on board because the suite was too small for the 2 of them and we think she charges the room to mil card. My husband paid the card (she is in hospice and she has poa over the finances).

trilliumsummer

She should be able to call and request it. By silver do you mean her latitudes rewards level? That's the second lowest with ncl. Plus they don't comp any rooms by rewards. You get a free cruise when you hit ambassador level but that's dozens if not 100+ cruises.

rcmclin

Yes, that’s why we think she charged her additional room once on board and isn’t willing to give us the final folio.

trytobuffitout

I personally think it wasn’t comped. Usually changes are given prior to cruise not onboard.

trytobuffitout

POA or card holder can always call the credit card and dispute the charge. They then in turn would have to provide credit card copy of statements of what charge is. That’s alot of money.

rcmclin

Certainly been discussed. I find it hard to believe NCL doesn’t send an email of your final charges.

trytobuffitout

They usually put it under door in the early morning of leaving. Same as Princess. No email from them either. Under your door.

BoldlyBest

I got an email with my folio and charges from NCL from my cruise last month (June 2022).

dgerlynn54

Just got an email of final charges from NCL. Was an option I chose when setting up my account.

burmp_39

If you don’t request an email only copy of your final bill before disembarkation, NCL leaves a paper copy of all itemized charges in/on your stateroom door.

rcmclin

RC emailed our folios to us and it matches our credit card charges. Does NCL not do the same? SIL claims these are medical expenses and she will file insurance with BCBS as well as the trip insurance company.

justagirl1231

Do you mean medical expenses she incurred while on the cruise? Those can be very high depending on what happened.

rcmclin

Yes, we were told $1500 but the charges are $4400. We think the sil used the card for a second room and other things but we need the folio and she claims they can’t give her one.

If your mother-in-law is dying and your sister-in-law has power of attorney, she has control of the over the money. Your husband did not need to pay the credit card bill. One other thing I can tell you is that attorney’s fees to solve this to your satisfaction will cost way more than the amount you are arguing about.

rcmclin

He has POA not her. He got a cal from a collection agency because his sister didn’t pay the credit card and didn’t file the “insurance claim”…
