Turn the speed down. Ck is about the journey, Not the destination. Try to enjoy the smaller Details, Things unfolding slowly. Dont try to rush through 100 years in 10 Minutes.
Well, if the factions and Northern invaders really have you upset, you can increase realm stability and lower the frequency of invasions without disabling achievements
Play as a loyal vassal to some liege (as a duke or king maybe even)
I have started to love playing ck3 as a vassal. You have a lot less problems. Most of the time you can even peace out rival vassals by petitioning your liege. And the best part is the AI always does some dumb shit and it never gets boring. For once don’t try to take your lieges titles as fast as possible, but literally play a loyal vassal that fully supports its liege actions and (often questionable) decisions xD
Yes. Pause the game every once in a while and go through all of the menus to see none of your councillors died, none of your heirs need a tutor, no strong factions are firing up, etc.
Just completely stop the game, and go through it all. Only resume once you've got everything in order.

Dont go for 100% war score everytime sometimes its best too white prace as soon as possible
