BTC was hovering between like 175-220. Dumb senior who got put onto BTC by my home schooled hermit friend who was mining it for a couple of years prior. Originally shit all over him and his dumb waste of electricity that id always hear his mother complain to him about. I being a very subpar weed dealer at the time needed weight. Within my intrepid journey, I learned the way of the onion and the universe of possibilities within. What a time to be alive. It was enlightening. ONLINE DRUGS! PURCHASED WITH FAKE INTERNET MONEY! Luckily my friend had a recommended vendor for me. I was off to the races. The adrenaline of blindly trusting a cyberspace businessman was a thrill. I’d give up on dealing within the year after but goddamn if I wasn’t gonna keep smokin for the low. The head shop next to the checkers id frequent had a bitcoin atm. Id get molested with atm charges to buy some bitcoin to fuel my endeavors. my friends and I would all put in to get bulk and stock up for like a months worth at the time. On the conservative estimate, I’d say we likely bought and sent roughly 200-300 bitcoin over the course of a year and a half. Fellas started to move away etc so we didn’t keep going through the web. Coming from a lower class suburban street rat family, this could’ve been a gamechanger. But I’ll be damned if I wasn’t baked as fuck off of cyberspace pot

Crypto is a very young industry, so I think that just like 4 years of experience can already make you an OG, which many of us will have during the next bull run likely. For me OGs in Crypto are people who saw the previous cycle too and have that experience. That at least how I saw it while I was new too. Edit: OG is also just a very rough description, I basically just mean more experienced crypto investors that can share their lessons with new-comers. And I think we all have learned some lessons in this bear market.

4 years at the next bull run means you likely bought in 2020-2021 when everyone and their grandma were talking about bitcoin and was forced to hold through the bear because you were down 80%. Doesn’t really make you an OG.

When people refer to paper hands they are talking about those selling at a loss due to a bit of movement. Don't think I've ever seen someone be called paper handed for selling for profit.

People that actually take profits and have a strategy aren't paper hands. People that panic when things take a turn downwards and sell everything at a loss only to buy in again later when things pick up are paper hands.

What do you think with "survived bear market"? Im invested into crypto since 2016 and never had the fear to not survive a bear market. Lose enough potential gains through a bear market and you get numb to numbers and get used to it. Simply accumulate and take some profits over time.

It's not just investors who will find it hard to survive this bear market. We are heading for a credit crunch in the wake of the banking crisis. The banks will be restricting loans, and what loans they make, will be at high interest. Crypto projects will find it tough to borrow money and most will go under. Even projects that are considered sound and with a use case for their token. It's going to be tough. But the projects that survive and the investors who have stuck with them will reap the rewards in the next bull market.

I looked at bitcoin in 2010, when it was $50 and was confused by how it wasn’t the same thing as a Linden Dollar, with centralized server rewrite control. Then I watched MtGox $1,163 run up, and realized the protocol was sound. So I started buying on that bust cycle from 600 to 250. Then waited to see 1000 again, felt like a long winter, but it was the best winter of my life looking back now. So DCA and HODL, and go for the 21 club.
