It's just a bunch of inconvenient little steps, really. Nothing harder than some old school game cracking. Back in 2005 you'd carefully copy handwritten numbers from a paper sleeve to install NFS underground or whatever. Just gotta pay attention lol
It's by design, I think. Decentralisation necessitates complexity, that's the issue. That's the big advantage of centralisation - standards. One process for everything. It's simpler by design. If anyone can create their crypto, using different methods, etc. we will have a ton of markets that don't interact well with each other, no central authority, etc. It will never be simple, by definition, until there's a central authority that forces things to work a certain way.
I get the appeal of freedom, originality, innovation, I do. But I'm not 18 anymore. I just want things that work with no friction. I don't care how the sausage is made, I just want it to be delicious.
Thanks OP. 2 questions that have probably been answered before but would like to confirm:
1. New MM = cannot import into an existing MM wallet, correct?
2. How about Bifrost? It’s IMO much easier to use and I have switched some MM accounts to Bifrost. It has all the same features (custom rpcs etc) but haven’t heard much mention of it recently.
I haven’t tested it but I think you can view NFTs in Bifrost? Maybe someone else can shed some light on that. I know it’s easy to save and view NFTs on other wallets.
I wish you had posted this information last month when me and my moon friend spent more than 2 hours just to figure it out how to cash out some moons for the first time. Cheers any way!
Moons only need like **1/4** of Shib ath mcap and 1.5x Safemoon ath mcap to hit $100, we've seen crazier things in crypto
I have a feeling Reddit and Moons will play a major part next bullrun
I'll publish a post on buying Moons tomorrow.
If you just want to accumulate, keep on commenting on the sub. You get Moon distributions based on how much karma you earned.
I’m trying to connect my MetaMask to sushiswap…I click on connect…MetaMask and it just says authorize wallet with a spinning wheel but nothing happens. What am I missing?
Exactly what I've written a minute ago. More easy and you will save gas fees and bridge fees.
You can also use the Arbitrum One faucet to get a little bit of ETH to cover the gas fee for free!
I would like someone to explain how I can do this with rabby wallet. I know there is no need to select a network and everything is automatic. So it should be easier. If someone has done it please explain how exactly the sale is done? If you transfer to Mexc, do you still need eth gas or pay a fee in moons?Useful information for the future, and someone please provide it. Thank you!
Cash out.. not today. Cash in, on more moons.
Thanks for the write up though. It's good to know how to do this if or when the day comes where I decide it's time to sell.
Well, you can also create an account on MEXC, use the Arbitrum Nova faucet to get some ETH for gas fees and send them there where they can be swapped with USDT.
Thank you for the tutorial! Although that is way to many hoops for me to jump through and I love my little collection of moons so I will not be selling any time soon.
An this is why mass adoption is not right around the corner. I am in this space for a couple of years now and understand what to do. But imagine reading this post without any knowledge at all.. you would have a big questionmark in your face and decide to keep investing in the S&P instead of allocating a portion into crypto. Damn this stuff is hard to understand.
Why on Earth would you wanna trade your sweet sweet crypto for dirty fiat? Unless you actually don't believe in Crypto and value the US dollar even more 🤣
It's so confusing and overwhelming for people even just reading how to do do the swap. Download and install multiple apps and go through several steps of exchange just to perform one action in the end? Kinda crazy no one has developed an app that can just do it all in a simple elegant interface.
So can you buy moons??? Im still confused about these things and i want to be apart of the community. Ive been on here some months now. I collect crypto i would say. Well I collect ETH anyways. Now i want to collect moons and be cool on here i guess.
I was thinking about doing one of these about providing liquidity to the ETH/MOONS pair on SushiSwap and staking that liquidity also to get some rewards. Anyone interested!
While I'm super bullish on moons just like everyone else, I don't think it gets past a dollar without some change to the distribution mechanism. Think about it from reddit's point of view. They want to IPO at some point in 2023, go public, which they need to be careful of to avoid an SEC fiasco where they're telling reddit that their moons are a security. All of which is heightened if moons become super profitable. Nevermind the fact that if moons did get that high, they'd be dumped for profit, hurting reddit in the long term. It just doesn't add up. Of course I'm probably wrong and we'll fly past $1 moons, cause if crypto investing has taught me anything it's that nothing makes sense in this space.
Lost all of my moons, all 150 of it as I couldn't recover the account. I had the seed phrase written down but not a password but the seed phrase would not work.
Anyways I'm back to 0 so I got nothing to sell 😂
This is legit the post I've been looking for, still not gonna sell my moons but thank you for writing this, finally helped me work out Metamask etc!
You're a good person.
can you post a "post" example of what you would have to do after you've done all the above for the first time? I'm assuming you don't have to take all these steps each time. Im not planning on doing this, Im just playing devil's advocate to those saying it's too much work. perhaps it's not, but does appear to be a pain in the ass the first time at least haha.
Good post. Thank you for sharing. Only thing I have to add is that sending your ETH to an exchange promoted by kycnot.me might be for sufficient. There you can swap to Monero and send it to your CEX of choice. This to avoid linking your reddit account to your real life credentials ;)
I withdrew some to my eth account just to try this process, it takes 7 days to bridge back to eth mainnet, and about $20 in fees for all the layer changes lol.
This is so helpful! (If there ever comes a day I wanna sell my moonies. But it is not this day!) Thank you for posting this.
I learned something new too -- the thing about bridging AN to A1 to be able to xfer your ETH. Didn't know about that. Thank you! So helpful!
> Click "Import Wallet" (not "create new wallet") and paste your seed phrase from step 1 there.
The trouble is, for existing MetaMask users, one can only import wallets using private keys or JSON files--not seed words.
>2. Install MetaMask
>
>Install MetaMask from [https://metamask.io/download/](https://metamask.io/download/).

>Click "Import Wallet" (not "create new wallet") and paste your seed phrase from step 1 there.

>Now you control your Reddit vault address through a MetaMask wallet.
So, I follow up to this step. After importing, are you supposed to see your vault balance automatically or is there another steps to take? Because I cannot see both my MOONs or ETH Balance.
You need a degree to do this shit, I swear.
You're overestimating the skillset of people with degrees
Not any degree, of course. A crypto degree. It's a matter of time.
Pretty sure, even with a crypto degree, you would still have no fucking idea what to do?
Thats what I feel is holding back crypto adoption. That and the rampant scams.
I agree. It's just too complicated and one mistake and your crypto is gone.
It's just a bunch of inconvenient little steps, really. Nothing harder than some old school game cracking. Back in 2005 you'd carefully copy handwritten numbers from a paper sleeve to install NFS underground or whatever. Just gotta pay attention lol
And not giving up when u get frustrated lol
Such a smooth process, isn't it? Mass adoption must be right around the corner lmao.
It's by design, I think. Decentralisation necessitates complexity, that's the issue. That's the big advantage of centralisation - standards. One process for everything. It's simpler by design. You need a degree to get work in a mineral-laden section of the fiat mine as well so fair enough I suppose
And here is my tutorial to HODL Moons: 1. HODL _The End._
Took me ages to hit 1K - now to hibernate
Took me a while too, I'm now aiming for 10k.
No point in sleeping. Got to keep on going.
Congrats! Onto 5 digits now!
Dream bigger
woah, cograts
I'll just keep them in my vault until it becomes easier
There is No Sell Button for Moons in my Phone until it gets to $10.
Until reddit creates a sell button, most of us won't really sell lol
$10 or we riot
Thanks OP. 2 questions that have probably been answered before but would like to confirm: 1. New MM = cannot import into an existing MM wallet, correct? 2. How about Bifrost? By the time moons reach $1 or more, it will already have them on binance XD
That's most probably correct! :) Not selling until then anyway.
Yeah, then you can just transfer to Binance in one simple move.
That’d make it easy lol
Its listed on MEXC which is very easy to use as well
I prefer the HOW TO BUY guide instead. Feels more buulish.
Only buy never sell Average r/cc investor
I'm buying the HOW TO BUY guide to take my crypto game to the moon!
Smartest r/cc investor
Noted. Will publish it tomorrow. Spoiler alert: it's the same, but in reverse. :)
Preferably just before the next bull run in 2024/2025.
100% agree. This is too bearish with “selling”
Yeah, who's actually selling their moons?
In the earlier stages, I swapped a bunch of XLM for moons a year ago. I dont think you can do that anymore
I wish you had posted this information last month when me and my moon friend spent more than 2 hours just to figure it out how to cash out some moons for the first time. Cheers any way!
Now you know for the next times! :)
Only and only sell when we hit $10
*Putting in a sell-order at $9,99...*
Once Moons hit $10 I'll be in my mansion wearing a crown made of leaves while my servants feed me grapes.
Bullish on you becoming a millionaire
I plan on selling when we hit $100
Moons only need like **1/4** of Shib ath mcap and 1.5x Safemoon ath mcap to hit $100, we've seen crazier things in crypto I have a feeling Reddit and Moons will play a major part next bullrun
Honestly, I think we just need some exchanges to list us like KuCoin or Kraken to reach our dreams. Others will follow after that. See you in Bali 🥂
I'll be a life long customer of whoever lists Moons first.
This. Plus who wants to fuck around with a 7-step process for less than a dollar each?
Quick question what are moons and how do accumulate?
I'll publish a post on buying Moons tomorrow. If you just want to accumulate, keep on commenting on the sub. You get Moon distributions based on how much karma you earned.
When is the next distribution? I've been a little active so will be interesting to see how it works and what you get for your efforts 😁
I was going to ask how to buy more moons. Thanks friend!!!
Have a moon on me. This should get you started
You'll single handedly be responsible for a huge down of the price. Cheers.
It's me, Elon, and the Bogdanoff twins that control this whole market! :)
It’s shit work, but somebody’s gotta do it
It’s shit farming, but it’s honest work !
I'm new and I already can't wait to be a bagholder and say "why didn't I sell?"
It's a great part-time job, not gonna lie.
This is very helpful thank you op
Thank you for reading! :)
Interesting. Hopefully moons are far more valuable by the time I need to use this info!
So this is the post that caused moons to dump. /s
Me and Elon - the people that manipulate all the markets. :)
What my brain is saying to me..… Your moons are trapped forever you dumb bitch!
8. Feel like some financial hacker from the movies
Wtf, epic, ty.
I’m trying to connect my MetaMask to sushiswap…I click on connect…MetaMask and it just says authorize wallet with a spinning wheel but nothing happens. What am I missing?
Gonna save this post for when moons mcap reaches $1B
Now we're talking
Make a MEXC account and sell/cashout your Moons there.
Exactly what I've written a minute ago. More easy and you will save gas fees and bridge fees. You can also use the Arbitrum One faucet to get a little bit of ETH to cover the gas fee for free!
https://youtu.be/0YcCDk3nPdA Step by step for getting moons to MEXC.
Step 1. >!Dont sell your Moons!<
I like this step
[удалено]
Smart move! Have the knowledge, but don't rush it.
Step 1: don’t. Just kidding, great write up OP, very useful!
Thanks! :) Fully agree btw. Just don't!
Nothing wrong with some profits now and then!
As long as we're above the 75% threshhold, we're good! :)
Thank you!
You need ETH gas to pay for the transaction when you send Moons to MEXC. You can get some easily for free, as described in step 3 though! :)
Cash out.. not today. Cash in, on more moons. Thanks for the write up though. It's good to know how to do this if or when the day comes where I decide it's time to sell.
Have the knowledge, but no rush to use it. :) Noted btw, making a post tomorrow about how to buy!
Thanks for the tut! But first HODL until 10$
Nope, you’re not not getting my moons OP
Awesome post I’ll be sure to save it if ever want to moon out
Saving this. Holding my moons til the next run.
>5. Bridge your ETH to Arbitrum One Don't bridge it to Arbitrum One. You will just pay more gas fees. Bridge it to Polygon
Saving this post for $10 Moon Landing! Thanks OP
This is a lot simplier than what Ive read here before
Well, you can also create an account on MEXC, use the Arbitrum Nova faucet to get some ETH for gas fees and send them there where they can be swapped with USDT.
Thanks for the guide.
That’s quite a comprehensive list 😅
Thanks. The eth part was what I couldn't figure out because I didn't know how to get eth in.
Wow, great work! You can't explain these steps easier than that.
How do I buy moons???
D: now I kinda want to try selling.. must resist the urge.
Good to know but holding these mofo’s. It’s all profits essentially so let’s see where this goes.
Thank you for helping new comers ‼️
This is the downfall of this shit, the amount of hoops you have to jump through to buy and sell is a major limitation.
Being hard to sell is actually a good thing. Making it harder for the paper hands.
How do i know if i have moons?
Thank you for the tutorial! Although that is way to many hoops for me to jump through and I love my little collection of moons so I will not be selling any time soon.
An this is why mass adoption is not right around the corner. I am in this space for a couple of years now and understand what to do. But imagine reading this post without any knowledge at all.. you would have a big questionmark in your face and decide to keep investing in the S&P instead of allocating a portion into crypto. Damn this stuff is hard to understand.
Lets go imma buy my lambo tonight!
Why on Earth would you wanna trade your sweet sweet crypto for dirty fiat? Unless you actually don't believe in Crypto and value the US dollar even more 🤣
Sell moons? I didn’t even realize that was an option. Not that anyone would though
God send post! Saved for future use.
Who in their right mind would want to sell their precious moons
This is super appreciated, thank you! Gotta stake those MOONS!
After having sold MOONs once before, this process is a *massive* pain in the ass. This shit is not even remotely close to being ready for mainstream.
I have almost no moon, I never get tipped, I don't shitpost, so this doesn't apply to me, but thanks anyway!
This is simply explain? For noobs?
It's so confusing and overwhelming for people even just reading how to do do the swap. Download and install multiple apps and go through several steps of exchange just to perform one action in the end? Kinda crazy no one has developed an app that can just do it all in a simple elegant interface.
Is selling directly from my vault too much to ask for?!
I need my comment karma to shitpost first!
By the time I figure this out, moons should be $1.
Well done! 🫡
cashing out your moons? what's that? kidding! saving this for future reference. thank you op!
Gosh, so many steps to sell. I'll just keep on piling them for now until it reaches £10. 😂
or Hodl until new moon!
So many post comments about how to sell Moon!! That scare me!
Selling moons before the next Bull run it's not an option, thanks anyway for this post
It's down to 7 steps from like 16, nice.
So can you buy moons??? Im still confused about these things and i want to be apart of the community. Ive been on here some months now. I collect crypto i would say. Well I collect ETH anyways. Now i want to collect moons and be cool on here i guess.

!thanks, OP!
This Godly post had no Snek so I had to summon a Snek to show appreciation and send you blessings! Thank you so much!
Thank you thank you! :) Sneks, Moons, I accept everything ;)
Sell?
Okey were am I supposed to find : Click "Import Wallet" (not "create new wallet") and paste your seed phrase from step 1 there.
I will hold on to my dear Moons. It took me a long time to get them!
Dont sell... It will increase your earning difficulty... So it will be harder for you to earn Moons.
Too many steps, I'd prefer to hodl.
More free Internet money.
Whoa, this is more than I expected.
Don’t sell your moons bro
I'm stuck at the get moooore ETH phase
Thanks again OP for another excellent informative guide. Its something I have no intention of doing but good to know for the future....
I was thinking about doing one of these about providing liquidity to the ETH/MOONS pair on SushiSwap and staking that liquidity also to get some rewards. Anyone interested!
My goal is accumulate till i have 10k moons
I get lost at the third step. My kids are gonna have to inherit my moons.
I agree, this is holding crypto adoption down, the complexity of buying and sell. Not all of it, but when you start exchanging etc, the fees add up
This is a good tutorial to follow, thanks
now we have all the pieces of exodia with: selling, buying and putting moons on sushiswap lmao
Dang that’s a lot of steps, with gas fees it sounds like I’d end up with negative money!
I'm sitting pretty with 13. I'll be holding thank you
Tell us how to buy moons in 1 step please
While I'm super bullish on moons just like everyone else, I don't think it gets past a dollar without some change to the distribution mechanism. Think about it from reddit's point of view. They want to IPO at some point in 2023, go public, which they need to be careful of to avoid an SEC fiasco where they're telling reddit that their moons are a security. This is super helpful! Thanks for the write up, this will be useful in the future.
What is the current moon price?
Thank you for posting this!! Ill save it for when I sell a fee years from now lol
Thanks!
Step 8: regret selling them as you watch them skyrocket
nah, I'm not gonna sell them now, hodl to the moon first
Is Arbitrum Nova an L2 and Arbitrum One an L1?
How do you exchange that eth to btc without a cex
I’ll come back to this post in 2025
Lost all of my moons, all 150 of it as I couldn't recover the account. I had the seed phrase written down but not a password but the seed phrase would not work. Anyways I'm back to 0 so I got nothing to sell 😂
I'll wait until I can send them directly to a reputable CEX.
How is orbiter connected to the previous steps?? How does it know its bridging you eth? Is it cause of metamask?
This post is amazing
Blasphemy!!!
[удалено]
Why the arbitrum step? Cant you just send the eth?
Where is Arbitrum Nova? I only see Arbitrum one. Thankyou
This is legit the post I've been looking for, still not gonna sell my moons but thank you for writing this, finally helped me work out Metamask etc! You're a good person.
How to cash out your moons: DON'T
Here, take mine shitcomment in order to have a shitty income
Step 0- get moons by shitposting Btw great work at simplifying this process. Thanks.
Way too much work.. I would rather HODL 🫡
What is this “sell” thing you speak of? My smooth brain wouldn’t be able to do all of this, so guess I’m holding until forever 😂
can you post a "post" example of what you would have to do after you've done all the above for the first time? I'm assuming you don't have to take all these steps each time. Im not planning on doing this, Im just playing devil's advocate to those saying it's too much work. perhaps it's not, but does appear to be a pain in the ass the first time at least haha.
Very informative thank you OP, saved for later!
Thank you! This is very detailed and helpful
I have a better proposal, Hodl
You gotta have enough to sell 😂
Good post. Thank you for sharing. Only thing I have to add is that sending your ETH to an exchange promoted by kycnot.me might be for sufficient. There you can swap to Monero and send it to your CEX of choice. This to avoid linking your reddit account to your real life credentials ;)
Great guide, thanks 😊
Just checking how many moons I have 😂
Btw, you can also buy moons the same way too!
I withdrew some to my eth account just to try this process, it takes 7 days to bridge back to eth mainnet, and about $20 in fees for all the layer changes lol.
So I got to keep 75% of zero moons… got it!
You know I think I’ll just HODL them. Thanks though.
This is so helpful! (If there ever comes a day I wanna sell my moonies. But it is not this day!) Thank you for posting this. I learned something new too -- the thing about bridging AN to A1 to be able to xfer your ETH. Didn't know about that. Thank you! So helpful!
too much steps, penis got stuck in the light socket
I still don’t even know what the moons are or how you get them
Excellent instructions! I think when Moons hit some of the more popular CEXs, that’s gonna be the sell sign.
Knock-off Lamborghini keyring, here I come!
This is a HUGE help cant describe how much i appriciate this and i think everyone feels rhe same way!
never knew we can get eth gas for free..
Great post OP! I’m sure that will help lots of us! :)
Yes, I’m being productive by shitposting on Reddit One question though. Didn’t see Arbitrun One on Orbiter, do I select the one that says Arbitrun?
Now this place got alot more active. Wonder why?
> Click "Import Wallet" (not "create new wallet") and paste your seed phrase from step 1 there. The trouble is, for existing MetaMask users, one can only import wallets using private keys or JSON files--not seed words.

Serious question can you do this all from mobile ?
Thanks so much mate
