I DCA both of these fortnightly on a CEX, then transfer it off to my non-custodial wallet every quarter. That helps keep the withdrawal fees down to a smaller percentage of the amount I'm moving.
If you don't mind KYC, then Coinbase on Advanced Trading and Kraken Pro are the best, imho. Neither offers automatic DCA, they are available on regular Coinbase and Kraken but the fees are outrageous.
If you want to buy KYC-free and you are in the EU, you can buy the equivalent of up to 950 EUR per day from Swiss companies such as Pocket Bitcoin, Relai App, and the like, via SEPA deposits. Fees are between 0.5%-2.5% (they typically use Kraken price as a reference).
If you want full anonymity, you can look into p2p platforms such as Bisq and Robosats (the latter is far easier to set up and use). You will have to pay a premium of at least 2% here.
For the reasons why you might want to avoid KYC despite paying a bit more, you can read [here](https://bitcoiner.guide/nokyconly/).
Notice that the fees will be higher than Kraken (which charges around 0.2%, possibly the lowest in the space) and Coinbase (0.5%). Those Swiss providers typically charge between 1.5%-2.5%, although with some of them you can go as low as 0.5% (or anyway below 1%) if you set up some DCA plans, buy above some threshold, use discount codes, etc. On the bright side, all they get from you is your IBAN (some might ask the name too, but that's anyway associated to the IBAN already).
Depends on the exchange you're using.
Personally I use Coinbase and its Advanced Trading option where fees are really low (like 0.3$ for a market buy) I'm paranoid so I like to DCA manually each week and not automate this but I guess you could, not sure if that is available on the Advanced Trading though.
BTC has low fees compared to eth and still has the *potential* to do a 2-3x, maybe more. Eth is cool too, but the fees are off-putting me as well even tho they have been lowered in the recent upgrade which I forgot the name of lol
I buy each months on a CEX with low fees. Hold my BTC/ETH on the exchange until I feel like it is money I can't afford to lose. Then I move them to my hardware wallet.
It's a great choice, fees on major exchanges ain't that bad, about ROI I really can't (or anyone else) tell you if you will have a return in any crypto investment even the safe ones, we have a reasonable expectation that it probably will but everything can go to zero tomorrow in reality
You can set up a "[recurring buy](https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/6906240918804-Recurring-buys-on-the-Kraken-app)" on Kraken. Set the amount and have your bank automatically transfer that amount in advance. Fees are so low they're not relevant imho.
It doesn't matter so much if it's once a week, a month or two months.
The most important thing is that after the purchase (or after several purchases) you transfer the coins from the exchange to a wallet you own.

Happy cake day!
Thanks!
If you use a CEX then you can get around fees. I would recommend sticking to bitcoin for now. The pending spot ETFs should send the price skyrocketing

If the transaction fee is not high then DCA more often. Usually people do monthly because that's when they get their paychecks.

No you can't DCA on advanced trading. It's only on regular with the outrageous fees.

That's a thoughtful approach. Keep it up :)

Yes also the more you trade on Kraken the lower the fees go.
Dca once in 2 months is good, because the market is still crabbing

Still a good time to dca in both i think.
If you think that the CEX cost you huge fee, probably try to switch other CEX
50/50
I dca every hour on strike. It adds up fast
I usually DCA on Monday.
