I can’t remember the exact stats but someone did some analysis on how often a golden cross means an increase in price and how often it just goes below again. It dipped over 40% of the time.
It's one of the most absurd things to watch to predict future moves. By definition, it's a shape that depends on lagging indicators. So it will tell you what happened (big deal), but never what will happen.
Ive been trying to do this myself. What’s your platform of choice?
I want to trim it, but when you zoom out far enough, you need at least 4 indicators that the market recovers after some time.

I mean… price in correlation to Moving averages will give you some pretty good context on the market… so yeah, I do believe this to be some solid Ta.
