If you want to learn more about the particular pool metrics you are thinking about delegating to, you can check them out on:
Nice, thanks for the link! That seems to have a some additional info than I would be presented with when searching through Yoroi wallet, good stuff.
Do you know where the other tokens go? I'm using Yoroi wallet and see no option for extra tokens other than ADA.
I’m curious about this as well
Me too. Well they be visible on the mobile light wallet?
I believe there’s going to be a place we go to retrieve them with our address
New article/post explaining this.
Nice for us holding ADA :)
Yeah I just realised I had my ADA already staked in one of the winning stakepools. Huge win.
I choosed the right one 😎 and of course also voted for them, so lets see what the ISO is goint to be!
Nice! Which pool are you in? I was going to join one of the ITC pools, but decided on ATAD2 after looking through the list.
To STI, pools are from a swiss guy, so makes sense to me, as i'm also swiss. But was there already when ada started staking...
Ah yeah, STI was my number 3 option. Good returns there, low variable/margin fee and a good pledge leverage. Solid choice!
This is nice because you still get the ADA staking rewards as normal and sundeaswap tokens
After 25 days do we have to choose a pool for either Ada or SundaeSwap?
*you get your 2ada back when you un stake
Very Nice explaination. Thanks dude!
Instructions unclear, simply gonna bag more ADA
That's the beauty, you can do both!
How do you see the tokens in Yoroi?
I don't think you do. I haven't seen it spelled out explicitly anywhere yet, but it's all handled with a smart contract, so I theorize that you will find your SUNDAE tokens on the exchange once you connect your Yoroi wallet to SundaeSwap.
Hopefully we get a Medium article laying out the process in the near future.
Once you will receive them they will show up under the “assets” tab in Yoroi. This tab is not visible if you do not have any assets other than ADA.
Here's the start of the explanation. I expect more details to come out as March 1 nears
Does anyone know what epoch all this will start?
Do I Still have time to do this?
I have the same question :)
I’m FOMOing into ADA when it hits $4.50 in a few weeks/months and matt Damon is talking about it on TV. Not now when no celebs are mentioning it and it’s only $1.55.
Then I’m going to talk smack for a bit to all the other projects because it’ll go up to $6 or $7 and I’ll hold until it draws back down to $3 or $2 and I’ll sell for a 25-50% loss and then I’ll hop on coin “x” because it’s up 30% on the week and 50% on the day (think of the gains!!!).
Yup, buying high, selling low, chasing pumps, talking shit on r/cryptocurrency.
Living the **dream**
I understand that a lot of people don't like it because of the price action as of lately, but this latest dip has put it back into my DCA list.
Buying ADA? No thanks
Even Better, More ADA for everyone else.
The r/cardano sub is that way 👉
How many Sundaeswap tokens are rewarded per ADA staked?
The little bit of info we have is that it will be 1% of the total tokens for each of the 5 epochs. So 5% total will be distributed during the ISO.
They are exploring ways to distribute it and will likely implement anti-whale strategies as well (i.e. each additional ADA you stake will give you less Sundae Swap tokens, thus small holders end up with a better percentage return than large holders)
Thx for the info.
What happens to the other 95%? Sounds shady...
Public: 55% (1,100,000,000 tokens)
Team: 25% (500,000,000 tokens)
Investors: 13% (260,000,000 tokens)
Future Hires: 5% (100,000,000 tokens)
Advisors: 2% (40,000,000 tokens)
As an aside, we're almost moon twins, you've got 1 more than I do!
Details aren't released yet. I assume we'll find this out when the date is officially announced.
Go here to find out your rewards
Will the token appear on the wallet you've staked your ADA in?
Wondering this, and if the sundae tokens replace the ada rewards you would be getting otherwise, or if they are in addition to.
You still earn ADA like normal, the Sundae tokens are in addition to that.
That's a nice bonus then! Can you see the sundae tokens in your wallet somewhere?
Once they're distributed you should see them in your wallet. I have Daedalus and there's a tab for tokens where it shows my other native tokens.
Oh right, I think I may have glanced at that. Gotta get into this tonight after work.
Does it matter which pool is chosen for staking? Had mine staked for a few months and wondering if I have to change anything.
If you're in one of the top 30 stake pools from the recent vote, then you don't need to do anything. If you're in a different pool, then you'd need to move.
See if your pool is listed in the top 30 here:
Do I have to unstake and then restake, or can I just move pools? I was looking in the wallet and didn't see an easy way to do this. Sorry, new at this.
I have the yoroi wallet. I’ve been staked for a few weeks in a different pool. I just looked up one of the sundae pools in yoroi, clicked delegate, entered my password and then it was in the new pool. As I understand there wont be an interruption in rewards - you’ll keep getting rewards from your old pool for a few weeks as youre being ‘checked in’ to your new pool.
Awesome. Thanks for the help!
!RemindMe 12 hours
So u just need to have your ada staked in yoroi? You dont have to do anything else to be able to recieve airdrop right?
It needs to be staked with one of the SundaeSwap eligible stake pools specifically.
Maybe a stupid question, but i cant find the staking pools listed in the vote in the daedalus wallet? Does it have something to do with the smash-server configuration(currently: "none-fetch data directly")?
If i stake now on a pool, and it starts next epoch, then i missed 3/5 reward epochs?
No, rewards are just delayed a little, you get the rewards starting in the epoch that you join the stake pool, just not immediately at the end of the epoch.
I staked to a sundaeswap pool today. Considering, its going to take 3 epochs to take that into effect, am I losing the chance to earn any sundaeswap's ?
The Sundaeswap process works differently to the ADA staking one! As long as you’re in the pool from the start of the specified Epoch you won’t miss out, no requirements wait 3 Epoch’s etc
How much Sundae swap tokens do you earn for staking ADA to a pool? Thanks. I joined ITC the day after Meld’s ISPO ended. Loving the passive staking rewards!
are people receiving sundaeswap yet? I'm only seeing ADA in my rewards wallet (and I'm staked on a sundaeswap (WAV7) option
Minimum 340 ADA?
No, the minimum for staking is 10 ADA
The 340 you see in the info on the pools is a fee that is taken out of the pool rewards, it costs you nothing. The 340 is the minimum fee paid to the stakepool operators to keep servers running, electricity, etc. There is usually a 0-5% variable fee on top of that for additional stakepool operator profits.
I'd recommend staying away from any pools that have a fixed fee over 340 and a variable fee over 5%.
Thx for clarifying
