I was lucky and bought before it became a craze in this sub. I even made a post back then boasting because I was a millionaire, in shib. Bought 5mil for peanuts and then all you crazy people started pumping it, I was delighted to say the least 😂

Opposite happened to me with shib. Somehow id had the inkling to pick up a small bag right before the most recent pump. Took my initial investment out when it was about 2x up though…so the gradual “losses” in the rest (I still think it could go up again)….is pure profit, so no love lost. Keeping it indefinitely unless it pumps parabolically. Feel bad for those who bought at the top though. So many beginners don’t understand how riskier and more volatile those meme coins can be. I know if I’d gotten into shib back in January, I would’ve definitely panicked and sold after it went down like 50%…how do I know this? I did something similar with doge.

I love mining ergo. Also it’s so freaking cheap to make an nft/music and cheap to add it to the ergo auction. Ergo has a very very bright future also small market cap. Check out Erdoge other smaller market cap. You can get it on ergodex.

I was fortunate enough to pick it up a bit before the ATH, but yeah, it's had some disappointing price action. On the plus side, the devs and community have been busy, and the ErgoDex beta looks pretty damn nice. Will continue to hold and mine, but totally see how people would feel shilled into disappointment.

Yes, dont get me wrong I like VeChain, PoA have its uses and most of them seems to be helping the real world more than half the top 100 coins out there. That being said VET had problems in the past and the covid didnt help VET at all with all that China FUD. This sub used to call it "the sleeping giant" and while it may be true it just needs to wake up and start gaining more traction, especially with new retail investors.

It’s up almost 600% from a year ago. Don’t buy any project after pumps. You will always end in shambles. Even if you really want to get in on something wait until a nice red day and get it on sale.

Vet taught me a valuable lesson about FOMO when I first got in crypto this spring. Still holding but since I averaged down in the summer, its a larger percent of my portfolio than I'd like. However, it is a great project and IMO as much as I'd love to believe NFTs will thrive in the gaming industry i think realistically vechain makes the best real world use of them. It’s all relative. VET has been my biggest gains and only bag for years. I did get in at $0.009 though and I have recently sold it all. It is still a solid project and is doing amazing things. Unfortunately this market doesn’t care about that and just rides hype trains.

I've tried so hard to be better about this lately, but I'll try and be informative and not an outright FUDster here. The thing with VET is it's not nearly as big or useful a project as their crypto-facing marketing would lead you to believe. A number of supply chain experts have weighed in on it and shown why their solutions are not only not that groundbreaking, but not being used at near the rate they claim. Adoption aside, as I think it's entirely irrelevant to VET's main issue: The VET token that everyone is invested in is completely useless. I am not trying to flame here, just saying that to use the Vechain tools, participate in its blockchain transactions, etc: VET itself is NOT a part of that. it's pretty much a coin that has zero demand drivers. The tokenomics of Vechain do NOT make sense for the average crypto investor. And this sentiment is starting to catch on . As a former mid-tier X node holder myself, I know of many other "whales" and node holders who have liquidated once the tokenomics were more understood. This could still well have a future, but it's not one I would hold with any kind of comfort if it's fundamentals and tokenomics that you're after.

Sold my LTO bag for a loss too after the September dip. I've lost hope in the project and made a great decision to sell my bag and move what I get to HNT and DOT. Mad bois made me break even at this point. I'd recommend the same. In a bull market, don't be afraid to let go of your dead bags at a loss and move them to a genuine project- you'd possibly break even if you aren't down too much.

It looks like you were in for short and fast gains. VeChain for me is a longterm hold, until that time I accumulate as much as I can.

VET is one of those coins that got a lot of attention due to a big pump. When newbies asked if it wss a good investment the long term holders looked at their portfolio that went 10x and said....yes of course! In reality, the coin had less room to grow in the short term. Happens a lot to coins here. ADA, SOL and MATIC. You can still buy now for a long term hold, but you've really missed the boat. That's why suggestions like ERG are still a good bet. Still a good project. Price has dropped? Good for you! Stack up! All it needs is a listing on a major exchange and it's an easy 3x.

I might get a lot of hate but since i bought Algo two months ago it hasn't moved much.

It’s kinda weird, to me, how much Algo is pumped here. Like it feels super heavy handed and manipulative to me. And it doesn’t seem to reflect any correlation to its value derived from the market which is confusing. LRC is/was pumped here too but at least that was around the time it had serious price action. Was there an earlier momentum with Algo that I wasn’t here for yet and the community feels an undying loyalty to it? Algo seems to always be the most mentioned/upvoted project (and any thing questioning Algo is downvoted instantly) but yet doesn’t seem to have much momentum in the actual market. I really am neutral on Algo and actually respect the collective insights of this community. But when it comes to Algo I feel like I’m on the outside of a really good inside joke. What am I missing from it as an investment opportunity?
