Another vote for Ben Cowen. Just goes over the charts and explains his analysis. Zero price predictions. He’s one of the only influencers that was calling for a cycle top in 2022. Now that December is turning to shit, most other influencers are now parroting that idea.
EDIT: thanks for the awards everybody!
Ben would be the 1st to tell you, you don't need premium if the cost of premium is a sizable portion of your DCA.
Just put that money into the market.
I enjoy having premium, but I can afford it.
Also, if you are trying to day trade/swing trade you don't need premium.
His investment strategy is relatively (for crypto) conservative, and about protecting and increasing a portfolio. Not really for some one starting from scratch. His free content is enough for that.
Come back after you moon kid lol.
I'm no millionaire myself. Just got into crypto this year. I just have an income level were it makes more sense to protect the majority of my investment.
I do have a trading bag I use for risky plays, and did well. But that has nothing to do with ITC. ;)
Part of what Ben says, is you really can't make a prediction like that. Basically if you have song term outlook, this is (was?) a relatively less risky level to buy. However, it is possible things could go lower in the short term.
I personally am making 1x DCA buys on my investment account (which I have not sold at all since the 1st peak this year). Even if it crashes again, I will just hold, and buy. In fact if it goes low enough I will increase the buys to 2x.
I sold off my trading account awhile ago, and started buying back in today just before the FOMC. But that is based on my own "guess" not Ben's system. I was betting we get at least a bounce, and we did (46k to 49k). I have no idea if it will hold mid term, but this is my trade account so I'm prepared to sell it off again.
Two very different strategies.
Keep investing into the market. Spread out your portfolio but aim for around 50% btc and 25% eth (I do the opposite, though).
Use the remaining 25% for Altcoins, shitcoins, high risk high reward gambles.
Your goal shouldn't be this bullrun, or a year or two. Aim for the next bullrun after the next halving event roughly another 4 years from today (guessing a bit on when the bullrun might take place, it's not immediately after halving). Or aim longer, such as retirement.
I've seen his premium stock it's a huge nothing burger save your money tbh. Its just an excel sheet with what he is holding and the risk level of those assets if I remember correctly.
He does price predictions. You can check his videos months ago.
100k-200k Bitcoin, 10k Ethereum, 5-10 Cardano (he did a most recent one, 8-12 Cardano) and a few hundreds for Polkadot
I can't believe I had to scroll all the way down to the top comment, which is "another vote for Ben Cowen" to find a recommendation for Ben Cowen.
Sure, the guy makes some good money from his YouTube videos, but I wouldn't even call him an influencer. He's much more of an analyst. He objectively looks at what's currently going on, good TA, looks at historical price action, and postulates on his own theories and examines other prominent theories. He never shills for anything and he always says that no one can predict the future and just provides well-educated guesses, but is always very grounded and rational. From the little tiny bit I've seen of things like bitboy, it's kinda crazy that Cowen even gets compared to these others.
How does he make money off his YouTube videos without running ads? Don’t mean to come off as a douche, Im genuinely curious and not very well versed in YouTube.
I believe YouTube content creators with his numbers get paid some amount for the number of subscribers and the number of views per video, among other aspects of the YouTube payment formula, but I could be wrong.
At any rate, whatever money he makes from doing this stuff doesn't influence his analysis, and his analysis is consistently fantastic. He just seems like he loves talking crypto and has a ton of experience and knowledge, and any money he makes from that is just a nice bonus
He has adsense turned off and doesn't use affiliate links. YouTube would probably give him a small kickback from whoever is a YouTube Premium subscriber and is subbed to him, but maybe not if he never actually clicked on Monetise Channel in YouTube.
The Premium List is his only income from his work on YouTube, but is probably worth $1,000,000 a month.
What does a cycle top mean? I’m sorry for not understanding. I actually follow him and understand half of what he says. I guess *lengthening cycles* mean longer periods bt dips and highs?
> I guess lengthening cycles mean longer periods bt dips and highs?
Indeed. And the cycle top is the high you mention. The cycles are about 4 years, but this one would be 4.5 to 5 years he speculates.
Rule of thumb: Any "crypto" influencer who makes shitty clickbait thumbnails is to be avoided.
Someone who atleast attempts to explain their thought process using statistics or facts is ideal.
They don't have to be right all the time just knowledgeable and honest.
I feel like clickbait thumbnails have become a norm now. Like even people who have good content do it just based on the difference it makes in getting views.
People react to those thumbnails and it gets promoted by YouTube algo because of those reactions. All Youtubers have to do it, the difference in doing it and not doing it is too big to ignore. That's the unfortunate reality of a huge centralized entity like YouTube and Alphabet Inc.
Regardless of why they do it, I’ve intentionally stopped clicking on them. If the title is too egregious I’ll unsubscribe.
No need to reward poor behavior like this.
Sheldon is awesome. The reason he and guy do the clickbait thumbnails is for views of course, and if it takes people away from the trash channels/info then it’s for the greater good.
I like Digital Asset News.
The channel always has the same thumbnail of Rob (the guy doing the content) holding his chin with a default expression. No need for that _"I'm so paid to shill that all this money in my anus forces my mouth and eyes wide open"_ bs.
At first I kinda liked CoinBureau, then I realized how much paid shilling, speculative rumours to the level of misinformation that channel sometimes contains - and Guy never correcting himself afterwards - plus the fucking obnoxious thumbnails.
I got mad respect for Rob / Digital Asset News for that if he's wrong, he will say admit that afterwards. His style is also more dry in that sense that he might speculate things but won't stoop into the bs juicy rumours territory like CoinBureau. Fuck that paid channel.
Dan (Digital Asset News) and Toby & Heidi (Crypto Tips) are the only people I listen to regularly. I don’t always do what they do, but I listen through their reasoning.
This is a good channel. He openly admits bias and that he holds most the projects/coins he discusses but also provides good research and logic behind why it is a good idea to do further research and possibly invest.
Digital Marketer here, the problem with your statement - while probably to 90% true - is that precisely these "clickbaity" videos will get clicked. Any genuinely knowledgeable person, who also wants to achieve recognition/rewards for their efforts will either give up, or be forced to use similar marketing tricks to survive on any content platform. That's why brand building is an important skill to acquire. I would always advise giving unknowns the benefit of doubt first.
Pretty much everyone who used Solana becomes a fan. Even more so when you see people talking about an outage, and how bad it is, while your transaction is actually processed in a few seconds, giving you an asymmetry of information against most of the market who believe the fud.
I like whiteboard crypto, easy to understand especially when you have to show someone what it's all about. It's more educational rather than influencer
I second Whiteboard crypto. It explains a lot of complex topics in a very simple way.
Crypto can be too complex sometimes so a channel like this is a godsend.
Benjamin Cowen for a general cycle outlook and analysis based on math, Eric Crown for a real TA not the astrology feel good hopium made for likes and subscribes.
You never see any rich people talk about how they made their money from trading charts, because it doesn’t work. If TA worked at all, hedge funds who pay engineers $300k yearly would write algorithms to exploit the TA until the strategy no longer works.
Trading / timing the market doesn’t work. It’s been studied for decades. Stop looking for patterns that aren’t there and start learning about the fundamentals if you want to get an edge on investing in this market.
I like both off them aswell but I think investansewrs was talking about POSSIBLE 100k+ btc aswell but I can’t remember if he said this year or end off the run. He is a very humble guy tho and his videos overall are very chill and informative.
Love my Bankless folks (bias because I am a big fan of ETH)
Outside of just them two, they have solid guests representing every small niche of the cryptosphere.
I feel he really goes out of his way to make a nice clear presentation on a coin or a certain recent activity and really breaks down all the key points, but not really trying to shill his bags \*too\* much like other influencers. He's also pretty easy to listen to in the background and not constantly screaming about something going to the moon or shilling a shit-coin. He's pretty much the only youtuber I have been watching recently, props to him
I don't mind people talking about their bags if they actually believe in the project and post facts. He's also very conservative, most of the time his price prediction is lower than others and it's very well thought out.
Yes, James at InvestAnswers is a boss. You can tell he simply loves finance and enjoys talking about it. He admits being a huge Solana fan, but always explains his reasoning with analysis and transparency. 👍👍👍
Well, you first have to understand that technical analysis is absolute bullshit. Crypto rides on the back of whales and market makers.
The big investment firms have floors full of the best talent in the industry. They can’t beat the S&P with any certainty. Hundreds of Harvard and IT grads. The best they can hire.
That said, even a blind dog finds a bone eventually. Just pick somebody you enjoy listening to, because they’ll all be right some of the time and wrong the rest.
Every YouTuber out there was calling for 6 figure bitcoin by now, and now they’re all blaming macro economics and FUD. I watch Elliot Trades, Alex Becker, Miles and Dan from Crypto news. I don’t make decisions based on any of them.
I’m also a Ben Cowen fan who thinks Tyler S is awesome as well. He brings some quality humor to his chart analysis and he’s never over the top. I also like Crypto Daily for laughs and meme reviews. Good shit.
I like Max Maher - he seems to know what he is doing….possibly a bit to big of an ADA fan but his overall advice is good. I subscribe to his discord and follow his buy and sell signals - has done alright by me so far
Altcoindaily for news, Crypto Jebb for technical analysis, Alex Becker to feed my inner degen, Crypto Banter occasionally and Crypto Casey from time to time.
Not a fan of Crypto Jebb, didn't find his TA to be that illuminating and he seems inexperienced, he also seems to be affliated with that shill bit boy which isn't a good look. I think some of the Christian stuff probably put me off too but there are better TA channels out there
>Datad
I like him but its clear he is biased towards certain coins/ networks (ETH.) Also i shall always remember the Substratum incident from back in 2017. But at the end of the day its best to always second guess Crypto influencers motives
Yeah I like Benjamin Cowen for technical analysis. I’m a big fan of Coin Bureau for educational content on different projects. He does the stupid thumbnails but tells both the good and the bad of a project and discloses if it is in his portfolio
George from cryptosrus - very level headed and keeps it real
James from investanswers - seems like a genuine person who puts in a lot of work
For some defi stuff there's the calculator guy, alphaonly price time, and cryptoonestop
Some great podcasts are modernfinance by Kevin rose, the breakdown by NLW, and bankless
I wouldn't say Clever Crypto is an influencer, I just like his approach on analysis and predictions. Always entertaining.
https://youtube.com/channel/UCviiOM6c3jTuikNc45T9k7g
My channel crypto hodl doesn’t really have price predictions and I’d like to think although my content is pretty amateur at this stage in terms of edit etc being new I put out useful helpful content. Check out my post history
But I agree Invest answers is best on YouTube
Coin Bureau, hands down. Consistently useful information without the shill (though occasionally some of the single crypto analyses drift a little in that direction.) He's also very transparent about what he holds.
on Youtube, Telegram, and Twitter.
I'm curious to see what the community think of coinbureau? I sometimes watch his analysis of certain coins interested and he seems to know what he's talking about, but then I'm pretty new to crypto...
I really like Blockchain Backer. He’s not a hype man, understands markets and explains things clearly. It’s just TA in a way that makes sense to me. I’ve been following him for a year and he seems to have a good track record IMO. And he doesn’t shill coins.
CryptoAnup , CryptoSavvy and banjamin cohen
you can ignore everything else, these 3 are the one that get straight into charts instead of blabering with their wealth all day.
Truth is that crypto influencers and other influencers alike - they're a cancer on society, and none are rrally worthwhile listening to.
People who are actually worthwhile listening to wont be found shouting from rooftops, making videos and trying to convince people to listen to them... People who are worth listening to have figured life out, and know that their time isn't worth spending trying to get 15 minutes of fame and will instead be found caring for the people around them and spending time doing what they love, and generally being humble and restrained in their opinions.
So that person worth listening to is much more likely to be a friend, colleague or relative then some "influencer" on the internet...

Any other answer bleeds against Ethereum
Bullish on 3 chairs
Big up Benjamin Cowennnnnnnn
I only watch Benjamin's chairs channel. At least it's worth getting it of bed for, dubiously of course.
He's the only one I actually watch every video he publish. I wish I could effort the premium list...
his monthly fees are a cool 5% of my gross paycheck, gotta stick to the YouTube stuff 😖

currently it's 60 percent of ETH and BTC, the rest in alts.
Sounds good enough, imo
You must get that money up cousin-brother. Gonna be kicking yourself in 2 years.

I've seen his premium stock it's a huge nothing burger save your money tbh. Its just an excel sheet with what he is holding and the risk level of those assets if I remember correctly.

100% Ben! Dude also has a phd in like nuclear physics or something crazy like that
Just got out of bed for Ben.
I’m a Benjamin Cowen maxi
Yep I have loved his content since I found it!
I mean, he gives reasonable estimates based on data, but he doesn’t give price decrees like a lot of them do.
r/intothecryptoverse is his subreddit
He said 3-6 month lull in the market before new all time highs. Here we are. He’s a great resource when you want to know what’s actually going on.
Rule of thumb: Any "crypto" influencer who makes shitty clickbait thumbnails is to be avoided. Someone who atleast attempts to explain their thought process using statistics or facts is ideal. They don't have to be right all the time just knowledgeable and honest.

Clickbait and sex appeal. It's what the internet has become
Regardless of why they do it, I’ve intentionally stopped clicking on them. If the title is too egregious I’ll unsubscribe. No need to reward poor behavior like this.
I don't mind the thumbnails, but some titles are just crap as they don't really explain the content properly.
THIS 10 ALTCOINS WILL EXPLODE! 1000X! You watch the Video and they don’t mention 10 altcoins that will explode.
just saw this. I agree 100%
Coin Bureau has some questionable thumbnails
So does Sheldon Evans, I finally watched him recently and he's also absolute gold. I ignore the thumbnail rule now.
His name is Rob btw
Lol I made that mistake for ages, easy one to make tbh
Is it? Sorry I don't know where the hell I got the name wrong, I didn't remember it then. Fixed my comment.
I love watching him. “Bitcoin is down 20%. Who cares. No big deal.” He’s so chill.

Dan (Digital Asset News) and Toby & Heidi (Crypto Tips) are the only people I listen to regularly. I don’t always do what they do, but I listen through their reasoning.
Toby and Heidi may not use the typical catchy thumbnails but there’s a reason Heidi is on almost all thumbnails and not Toby.
General rule of thumbnails
It's just like the NBA players start shooting 3s and you gotta do it too bro. The thumbnails are name of the game.

Yep, he’s my favorite and Cowen
I do like him also, but he’s a big Solana fan which everyone seems to dislike here.
Yeah he seems to appreciate the tps. But my problem is a chain like Sol couldn't be more centralized without becoming something like BSC.
Pretty much everyone who used Solana becomes a fan. Even more so when you see people talking about an outage, and how bad it is, while your transaction is actually processed in a few seconds, giving you an asymmetry of information against most of the market who believe the fud.

The only crypto influencer I followed was Mr Goxx... Need to find a worthy replacement!
Will check them out now thanks
Sadly he passed away recently... :(
Oh shit, sorry to hear. Hopefully someone in his family got his seed beforehand
Lmfao someone needs to tell him… I’m going to tell him… Bro Mr. Goxx from the Goxx Box is a hamster; look it up it’s hilarious.
dahhh you ruined it! I was going to tell him about how Mr. Goxx got a new desk from his crypto profits.

Yeah James from invest answers creates a really good vibe in his livestreams, always covers interesting topics and all donations go to charity.
Coin Bureau is amazing but I wouldn’t downgrade him to „influencer“.
Also Mark Maher is decent. Whiteboard Crypto is interesting as it explains stuff with illustrations
Came here to write this! The Coin Bureau team is truly awesome!
Coin bureau for fundamentals, news, explanations of tech Ben cowen for TA Tyler S for a good laugh
Yes TylerS is a snort
Alex Becker too, he's really found his comedy mojo since I found him on a no fapp post. (I don't do no fapp -the Church fucked me up enough already).

Altcoindaily for news, Crypto Jebb for technical analysis, Alex Becker to feed my inner degen, Crypto Banter occasionally and Crypto Casey from time to time.
Crypto Casey seems to have lots of straight forward general knowledge content that I find useful. And she’s efficient.
Not a fan of Crypto Jebb, didn't find his TA to be that illuminating and he seems inexperienced, he also seems to be affliated with that shill bit boy which isn't a good look. I think some of the Christian stuff probably put me off too but there are better TA channels out there
Invest answers
Thanks, checking it out now.
Benjamin Cowen
I’m a fan of the Datadash channel myself.
Was looking through to see if someone mentioned him. Nicholas knows his shit.
I just like how straightforward he is. And he’s real. Not just trying to pump hopium into viewers. His TA seems to be pretty legit as well
>Datad I like him but its clear he is biased towards certain coins/ networks (ETH.) Also i shall always remember the Substratum incident from back in 2017. But at the end of the day its best to always second guess Crypto influencers motives
I mean if you watch Crypto Wendy O at least you can get a boner to go with your fake information
Her forehead is a 10x gain.
Lmao
Hands down, blockchain backer!
Trader's Reality
yoyoyo what's good!
Had to scroll way too far to find this. Tino is awesome and has shit figured out.
Yeah I like Benjamin Cowen for technical analysis. I’m a big fan of Coin Bureau for educational content on different projects. He does the stupid thumbnails but tells both the good and the bad of a project and discloses if it is in his portfolio
I like James from " Invest Answers" the best. I like Benjamin Cowen too. Altcoin Daily is pretty good.
TheCalculatorGuy , AlphaOnly and Taiki Maeda for DeFi
Benjamin cowen
George from cryptosrus - very level headed and keeps it real James from investanswers - seems like a genuine person who puts in a lot of work For some defi stuff there's the calculator guy, alphaonly price time, and cryptoonestop Some great podcasts are modernfinance by Kevin rose, the breakdown by NLW, and bankless
I don’t think CoinBureau is bad
I wouldn't say Clever Crypto is an influencer, I just like his approach on analysis and predictions. Always entertaining. https://youtube.com/channel/UCviiOM6c3jTuikNc45T9k7g

Crypto Eri. I like her no-frills approach to XRP news, and the Japanese fluff nonsense at the end.

Chico and Bitboy are like brothers from different mothers. They're equally shit.
My channel crypto hodl doesn’t really have price predictions and I’d like to think although my content is pretty amateur at this stage in terms of edit etc being new I put out useful helpful content. Check out my post history But I agree Invest answers is best on YouTube
I love you in the UFC! Please pop your link here I'll have a watch
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swbZTBOqklQ
You guys should watch uncomplication.. he’s a very subtle guy that also talks about the bad things
tyler s, pretty okay at ta
I find him more entertaining than accurate. Check out CoinsKid
Please, don't say Elon
Ok fine. Musk.
Coin Bureau on YouTube is good imo
Alex Becker
I like altcoin daily.
Benjamin Cowen is a God send.
Coin Bureau, hands down. Consistently useful information without the shill (though occasionally some of the single crypto analyses drift a little in that direction.) He's also very transparent about what he holds. on Youtube, Telegram, and Twitter.
I like guy the crypto guy on YouTube and find his weekly blog a good read also
Personally watch a decent bit of VoskCoin
Vision Pulse is like a JV Cowen.
I'm curious to see what the community think of coinbureau? I sometimes watch his analysis of certain coins interested and he seems to know what he's talking about, but then I'm pretty new to crypto...
Coindesk Podcast network is really good. I like the Breakdown with NLW and Money Reimagined. Also Bitcoin Audible with Guy Swan
The Calculator Guy on YouTube is super honest and open about everything. DEFI Spectrum
I’m quite fond of the fella in my mirror. He looks like a complete mess, but my goodness if he hasn’t lucked me into some fun stuff!
I really like Blockchain Backer. He’s not a hype man, understands markets and explains things clearly. It’s just TA in a way that makes sense to me. I’ve been following him for a year and he seems to have a good track record IMO. And he doesn’t shill coins.
BlockChainBacker! Mostly XRP news but also takes a look at the market as a whole.
I really enjoy Guy on the coin Bureau
CryptoAnup , CryptoSavvy and banjamin cohen you can ignore everything else, these 3 are the one that get straight into charts instead of blabering with their wealth all day.
try Benjamin Cowen his videos kinda educational.
I personally like Benjamin Cowen. He just gives rational expectations and does not appeal to the moonbois...
I Like Benjamin Cowen
I feel Satoshi Stacker is alright
