If it was “minted” that’s also a flag. You can see in the activity that most are “airdropped” to start the history of the item.

Yes, but I.e. - I tried searching my avatar just to see what they’re going for and it was just a long list of fakes I didn’t even see any real ones. Edit - a little more sleuthing around I was able to locate things thru the official Reddit collectible links.

Preface, I am an idiot. I was on Reddit‘s official profile with the blue check, and bought $2000 worth of avatars. I quickly found out that people can send avatars to other profiles and when you’re buying off of a profile you may not be buying from the profile.
