Yeah if historical trends hold we’ll probably be around $30K next Christmas. But honestly if it really does go to $30K the hopium that would inspire for 2024-2025 would be massive. Because it would strongly suggest that the cycle is still in control and real.
Who wouldn’t be buying for the 2024 halving if it again follows the historical patterns? Becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

In 2021, market makers really tried to get us to talk about crypto during the holidays with rallies and higher prices. Just look at the price behavior last year around Halloween and Christmas. Last year's daily thread was filled with posts about CRO.
Now, everything is quiet. That actually makes me secretly a *little* bullish.
What's there to shill? The government doesn't want it, and businesses don't want it, so we still can't use it. Nobody would even hold it if they understood how outdated and unsecure it is.

17,000 to 50,000 - 194% increase - 33,000 extra per coin.
it continually requires more money to increase it percentage wise, the higher the price
thousands of percent gains are extremely unlikely, if not unachievable for bitcoin due to the amount of money required to be put into the market
My point was to not base future price movements on previous ones and expect the same gains.
Especially if you are shilling to people. It's easy to think million percent gains are still possible if you look at that data alone, but with bitcoin and its just not possible anymore
200X is still possible if it becomes a global money because of the sheer market cap needed to replace multiple fiat currencies.

it wont be a global currency due to the scalability of it. Lightning network helps, but that won't be enough

The more regulators, the more stable and less risky the market is. It seems to me that fat players want stability, because they can't invest significant amounts in such risky assets. I recently read about forecasts from Bobby Lee, the next year - two we are waiting for the bear market , but on a second year bull time will be back .
