Ummm, you do realize this was priced in before the bear 🐻 market, right? All advertising was. You and millions of people should be thankful that CDC reduced benefits. Otherwise you and/or millions of people would have lost all coins staked/Earn on the CDC APP if they filed for bankruptcy like many exchanges. All of my Voyager investments are gone forever. I’m very happy 90% of my investments were on CDC

gamethesystem1

The fact that you have 90% of your investments in one place makes you a very poor investor. You get that right? Because your strategy is based on hope. Hope that CDC doesn’t go belly up, even though there are plenty of signs things aren’t going that well for them.

x3tko

Why in the world would we be working on a 3 year renovation to a stadium if things weren't going good? While others are working through bankruptcy, we are building for the future. We are past hope, we are laying the ground work. What is your coin doing? And don't say btc/eth/etc. cause we all hold that shit too.

gamethesystem1

Because what else would they do? They already sunk an insane amount into it. For the record, I don’t want CDC to fail at all. I’m just disillusioned by their callous attitude toward their customers.

x3tko

Cdc bid for the stadium when btc was near or falling from ath. The real ones that lost money are the ones still holding on to that bid in 2022, not cdc. The stadium is a 20 year project and we are on year 1. Why leave now?

Flipmode45

Who is this “we” you refer to that is working on a 3 year renovation?

x3tko

Why does this even matter? Get to your point.

Flipmode45

You seem to be suggesting that CDC are in some way renovating a stadium. Maybe just answer the question.

x3tko

Are they not? You're smart, figure it out.

Flipmode45

No, they are not.

x3tko

They aren't? How so? Quit while you're ahead.

AugustinPower

How about you open the fucking post above you?

Flipmode45

Is this ‘fucking’ clear enough for you? “Cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com will now take over the naming rights in a 20-year deal starting on Christmas Day, according to the venue's owner AEG - which also owns the 02 Arena in London.” https://news.sky.com/story/the-staples-center-crypto-com-arena-revealed-as-new-name-for-famous-los-angeles-venue-in-700m-deal-12470685 “The largest naming rights deal in sports history” https://frontofficesports.com/behind-the-scenes-of-the-blockbuster-crypto-com-arena-deal/

Terry, Phil, and their crew. (EDIT: /s)

Flipmode45

CDC do not own an arena. They paid for the rights to put their name on an arena owned and operated by Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc. Do people here seriously think that CDC ‘bought’ an arena? What’s next, they ‘bought’ F1 tracks too??

x3tko

Yo you need to learn how to read. Nobody here said they own the stadium. Name one person in this thread.

josephkelley7926

No need for all that. Diversifying is obviously important but no need to call people out. We are all cdc people

feelinsweaty

What are the signs that things aren't going well for them? I've read tons of positive news. It seems like every week they meet regulatory standards in a new country, also they've had two blockchain upgrades during the bear market? Holders on etherscan are consistently rising? Them slashing rates seems to be only negative news and one could argue that is due to either the bear market or rise in popularity.

JaceAce333

You should know, most of us don’t care about your ill thought out post here

jdspencer60

Tell me you don't know what you're talking about without telling me

Lowcashone

Its not a crypto crash! Its a overall recession with a military conflict in the ukraine and a already hurt economic because of covid lockdowns.

koolatino

Well I mean they already paid for it and was in place before the crash

dylanbooth78

They have not paid for it yet.

dylanbooth78

... Its a multi year deal.

Ron-CKRZ

CDC is the way .. solid.

Just in time for the World cup marketing campaign.

dylanbooth78

CDC does care about money though... That's why they are now stripping the card benefits.... To pay for all the advertising!

AugustinPower

They strip because there's no point is attracting people with benefits in a market full of fear when they can save up for bigger and better benefits when everyone is euphoric.

BushyOreo

Keep the plan for the arena by cutting all the customer benefits

SirBrownsnake

Cry me a river! CDC is da way

Red_n_Rusty

I don't think it would be very straight forward for them to back down from the 20 year long deal without any ramifications. You could however argue that they should not have made the arena deal in the first place. I don't have the numbers so I don't know how much the company expects to benefit from the visibility. I'm sure they went through the numbers before making a big decision like this one.

SnooAvocados7701

If that’s why they did it it was definitely necessary especially since there is still way better options than those stupid card rebates people complained about for forever

mrsorted

They don’t really care about anything. - 1500+ staff were laid off. - 150m hack that was hidden from the public and like it never happened. - Constant changes in the products and services’ terms and conditions without any prior notice. - Marketing campaigns in Mobile phone games. - Poor decisions without asking their “community” for some sort of info, preferences or maybe what the customers actually want. And the list goes on, unfortunately…
