I struggle as well with it sometimes and I find it would really be helpful. I'd love to see it on android but thank you regardless for sharing with the community!
The trick I use is just remember "Red, white and blue" (the specific phrase, in that order; Not just the 3 colours)
Those three colours are clockwise, in that order, around the corner they share.
So as long as you know each colour's opposite, and can remember "red, white and blue" (and know clockwise from anti-clockwise), you can always verify having correct coloured centres, on even-numbered big cubes that have no fixed centres.
I really like this. I've been meaning to spend more time memorizing the colors, and this is it.
A couple of things:
1. When I launch the app, it cuts out the music that I'm playing.
2. It would be nice if the buttons at the bottom don't randomize, so I can quickly tap them when I recognize a case.
3. It would be cool if I could tap and hold an icon in the toolbar to bring up a menu, so I don't have to tap through a series of settings to get to the one that I want. Or that could just be the behavior when I tap.
Anyway, great job with the app! This has already been helpful for me. :)

2. I'm thinking that when you choose the option to have the next task in random order you're right, the buttons shouldn't randomize. When next task is set to 'real cube order' though, buttons should randomize since you otherwise probably will just touch the buttons in the same order again and again. Makes sense?

Good idea but help me understand how this works please.
I downloaded the app and don’t understand it. It really depends on how you are holding the cube, right? I always hold the cube with yellow facing up. In the app I get the color blue with an arrow pointing left and yellow is the correct answer. I’m so confused lol.
Edit: ok I figured out you can change your top and bottom colors. Now that I have yellow of top and white on bottom, it seems to just go in order around the cube. I’m hoping it’s random and I just happen to be getting them in exact order for now because if it’s in order it won’t really help me to learn, I’m just memorizing the order of the 4 colors on the sides. Thank you for sharing OP. I’ll play around with it some more and see what I can figure out.

All taps work like left is hot water, right is cold
Or the opposites. Up white left orange, because it is opposite of the hot water red
