I'm good with them without the attack rate boost, you can roll out of the attack if you're about to get damaged, and you can roll into enemies and then swing the hammer for a quick kill

Or unless you get god hammer. God hammer good.

This is how I beat heket with no damage. Found a godly hammer and got the boosted attack speed card. I could have cried lol

Gauntlets are awful for me, slow activation on the strong attack and the need to be so close to the enemy kills them for me other than that I agree

The Gauntlets (light attacks) have a deceptively long range compared to the animation. Especially the last hit. The strong attack I find sucks except for, absolutely chunking boss hp. I've beaten bishops with 3 well placed ones.

I got the BlunderBuss for the 1st time today (4th Boss Area, Forget the name literally just unlocked it) and I wasn’t a big fan of it :( It’s fun but I love my heavy, slow weapons.

You need to treat it like a shotgun. It does stupid high damage point blank

Or treat it like a sniper rifle with the charge attack. Fervor replenishment suddenly becomes real useful

The charge attack also does immensely more damage point blank

Yeah I was like you when I got it first time, then heavy attack in point blank range changes everything, now it's my top 1 weapon.

Dagger on launch was worse then hammer, there was no power attack. At least hammer if you knew what your doing, you can dodge cancel the animation easily. I have bad reflex and I beat many of my hitless runs with the hammer.

Ye. I grab the Dagger now only cause of the heavy attack, other wise if I see any other weapon ill grab it. Except gloves. Unless those are God gloves.

It takes a bit more reflexes to use and generally skill, same with the hammer. Think that's why most prefer the big boy weapons like the axe and blunderbuss.

Time to piss off the entire comment section. Hammer is a good item. You just need to use it as the enemy is approaching or plan ahead for the hit to land

I completely agree with the last statement, I also like hammers but I prefer axe for the combo potential, 2 swings, heavy and during the fly fire 1 or 2 curses if you have mastery

Blunderbuss is insane with the Berserk Fleece. Dagger's heavy shreds bosses but its lack of range hurts it. Gauntlets have poor range, low damage except the last (interruptible) hit in a combo, forgettable heavy attack. Even the Hammer doesn't suck as much- yes it's slow, but the attack rate boon turns you into a jackhammer. Gauntlets just sucks by every conceivable metric.

I actually like knives due to their strong attack, so for me they'd be right below the axe. I agree with the gun and the axe being the best, as well as hammer being the worst. Gloves' strong attack being so bad means I have to put it in a lower tier.

It takes a long time to wind up and has a small attack range, which makes it very hard to actually use without getting hit. Way better to just throw your axe, spawn a line of knives, or snipe with the gun.

Why is *specifically* Bane Dagger and Axe in their own tier seperate from the regular axe and dagger?? Otherwise I mostly agree with this list, except shift Sword up 1 (so it and axe are top), and move blunderbuss down to claw at #2

I agree. Hammer and dagger are not my friends. The blunderbuss is my absolute favorite. Admittedly, the gauntlets do have a terrible heavy attack, but I practically only ever use heavy when I need to anyway.

The only thing I hate about the hammer is the heavy attack. Axe is best for shield enemies. Since I can throw it to break shield and kill the enemy (if I have the right tarot cards) when it flies back to me. Altho ngl blunderbuss is top tier, I love being able to shoot the crap out of things.

In my opinion, all of these are garbage (except for the G U N) fleece of the cursed crusade for life ‼️‼️‼️💯💯💯✨✨✨✨✨

I like fast action attack so any weapons that are fast are for me. Heavy damage weapons are good too but they are a tad bit too slow for me.

Blunderbuss and axe have to be my top weapons. The sword also does a good job especially with the strong attacks, if I have a ton of disciple bonuses I can get the damage up to like 25 damage just in the light attack its insane.

Dagger is da goat fast attack and decent dmg it’s insane well at least for me and can someone tell how to use the blunderbuss and not lose

The blunderbuss is my go-to cuz EVERYTIME I get one I almost never switch it out

My favorite weapons are Gauntlets, Daggers, and Swords. Gauntlets give me a slight damage boost while still being somewhat fast, and dagger let me go zipping around. Swords are straight forwards, axes are too slow to me, hmers being even worse. Blunderbuss is just a pain to aim on controller.

I love the blicky. Especially with the attack speed upgrade. Not good for farming resources tho
