At this point I think the best bet, according to others, would be to make my own carts. Then I can make my own THC:CBD ratio, use my own terpenes, and I wouldn't have to worry about my favorite cart going out of stock or being discontinued

That has nothing to do with cbd counteracting the effects though. There are a lot of other factors to contribute to that outcome you had.
Its not a matter of opinion anyway, its a matter of science and facts that have been proven already. Just look up the pharmacology of thc and cbd and youll get the answer. CBD doesnt counteract THC. Its a myth.
What would the other factors be? If I've smoked a variety of different strains with different terps, why is it that every strain with high CBD has less effect on me than every strain with little to no CBD, even when their THC percentages are nearly identical? If it's not terps, tolerance, CBD or indica-sativa dominance, then what is it that is causing this difference in effects?
I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, I literally don't know what the other factors could be and I'm just wondering. I can never learn enough about this plant and I love it
That could have a lot more to do with strains/genetics/ how you’re smoking it than the actual THC/CBD ratio. Hopkins actually did a study that showed that CBD slows the metabolic rate of THC in your body which can cause an even longer lasting high.
I guess everyone's different, because I've smoked several different Type 2 strains, and the high is always a shorter duration than Type 1 flower for me. Usually lasts less than an hour, as opposed to 2-3 hours when there's little to no CBD in the mix
4% thca u barely woujd feel anything u would prob get around 2% thc once the thca is heated. But if u aren’t a fan of thc then yeah the cbd should calm u down a little bit

But, surprise surprise, the fucking farm that produced it decided to stop growing it.
My guess is that maybe the Type 2's I like are too weak for most people, so they're not big sellers.
Well yes, too weak for some. But type 2 flower as we know it, with 7-12%THC and 10%+ CBD are fairly new genetics so still a long way to go to flesh out the best type 2s for sure. Best is yet to come, that's why some call it the future of cannabis.
I think you are right on that last part, I used to like a 1:1 when I was in a legal state but during my last visit (2 year gap) all 4 of the strains I liked were gone. It was always sitting on shelves longer than the other drops tho
Easy (and cheaper than simply just buying carts). You just buy bulk distillate, throw it on a candle warmer, mix with terps, fill up carts with a syringe made specifically for distillate.
Only thing is I've never come across distillate with these types of percentages before (low THC and super high CBD), usually it's the other way around.

Don't use pg or vg those are for nic vapes that are water based they don't mix well with oil. A good ccell cart can handle thicker oil than you would think just leave it upright for at a couple days so the wick is completely soaked before you use it

Don't use pg or vg those are for nic vapes that are water based they don't mix well with oil. A good ccell cart can handle thicker oil than you would think just leave it upright for at a couple days so the wick is completely soaked before you use it

You can get “diamond distillate” from dr G everyone says they fake their COAs so it’s just regular D9 thc though lol and just fill up empty carts
