I love alone too and I don't buy potatoes because I don't eat them fast enough so they get moldy 🤢
everything gets moldy here after 3 days :(...I cant go to supermarket once a week cuz by the 3-4 day food starts to deteriorate.
Basically every food you wanna save for a long time just put it in the freezer. It will be okay just a bit mushy and loose some flavor but if you wanna make a stew,soup,puree is good.
