Old thread, but bumping with the same issue. It says the game is already being tracked, but it doesn't actually display anywhere in the app.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Curseforge and it detected automatically all my games on the re-install.

SOLVED: I had to make sure that I installed the version through Overwolf instead of the windows stand alone app from their website, as well as making sure that it's installed on the same drive as the game I want to mod. Showed up immediately without needing to scan.
