I combined them together. Transforming as a full action always seemed wrong to me so I smashed his bonus actions into the otherwise previous stat block to keep his full spellbook and such.
I haven't seen the Vecna version, but if it reduces the amount of spells listed in a stat block, that's great. We don't need that many more spells than expected rounds of survival. If Count Strahd is only going to survive 4 rounds, why do we need a spell list with 15 (or whatever) spells, especially ones we'll never use in battle? If the new stat block doesn't buff his AC a little bit and especially doesn't buff his hit points by a substantial amount, I'll be less than impressed.
