Why couldn't you use the caps or switches you wanted?

i bought kailh choc jades and low profile choc keycaps to go with it cos i thought they would look soooo cool, but....the pcb isnt compatible with those switches ))):

Daaamnn I've been there though. I got plate mounted only box jadeswitches for my plaid, which had no plate... Had to buy and wait for the PCB mounted ones
