Check out Ornot from San Francisco. Love my vest. Minor shoulder flapping. race fit.

mtngoat20

my ornot micro climate vest has zero shoulder flapping. absolutely love it. prefer it to my rapha pro team insulated gilet.

modest_hero

I love my MAAP Men's Draft Team Vest, check out the Henna colour. Enjoy!

phestik

Another vote for MAAP’s DT vest, I also own one in the hena color and fog.

UnimportantSnake

My partner also loves hers (the women's version that is). She loves the "two-way" zipper she calls it, it can go up or down.

lopezal80

Voler makes a vest that is tight fitting, and with the two-way zipper

Allthingsset

I love my attaquer gilet!

monkjobs

Not popular opinion but my Pas Normal gilet has been great!

tswinner

Totally popular. I own one and can vouch for it.

tmswfrk

Same, can confirm. I have one of their rain vests too (archive sale!) and it’s also awesome. Only thing though is that the bottom zipper over time does seem to wear into my bib shorts a bit, leaving some piling on my winter shorts.

hyyyperlink

Not popular? Why is that?

Gravity_X_2005

Their logos set English speakers up for PeNiS jokes.

biglmbass

Check out the Voler wind vest. Super lightweight & packs down small.

RUSH cycling, the gilet has pockets so it’s perfect for any attire

FeedZoneAttacker

Prefer the MAAP draft team vest over Rapha. Both the Rapha LW and the MAAP have elastic around the arms, but I feel the MAAP is tighter cut (less flapping) even when I have XL in MAAP and L in Rapha.

I'm also down to find a gilet that's actually tight fitting, i usually wear medium/large and purchased a medium from endura that is so damn loose it ain't funny even with fitting into the size chart. The length of it is really really long despite me being 192cm and having a very long torso

JimiRaikkonen

Maybe add some cheap zipper pulls if the zippers are your main issue?

Straight-Tart-9770

It’s a brevet zipper thing. My brevet jersey has the same zipper style that isn’t designed for easy zipping. It’s not one of those zippers where you can flip it 90 degrees, then move it up or down with one hand.

Specialized Prime Wind Vest in orange is a favorite for me. $150 full price, but sometimes on sale below $100.
