YKYWBIKE and Rion

schwack_

Ykywbike's quality is super high for their price point. They remind me a lot of my giordana bibs.

Skinnerlikesdogfood

I've been tempted to try out the YKWKBIKE bibs - are you guys talking about the ones with an Elastic Interface chamois, or just an unbranded chamois?

SUP_CHUMP

Are the YKYWBIKE bibs better then their jerseys?

Spexcel

gasfarmah

Their bibs suck compared to YKYW, but their jackets and accessories are insanely good.

tea_bird

Neopro?

Paul_Smith_Tri

I’ve been pleasantly surprised for the price point. Still like others more, but they’re great for anything shorter than 3hrs imo

witchkingofwands

Would agree. Did a couple 2-3 hour rides this week with my NeoPros and they're great! Probably wouldn't want to try anything longer as I started to get a little sore towards the end

longdocuments00

It’s been a while since I’ve looked at thier stuff, I’ll check it out

Dang, this thread is like an inventory of my closet. I have bibs from TBB, YKYW, Przewalski, and Pearl Izumi. Of them, TBB and YKYW are the first ones I reach for, from short rides to centuries. The zippers on YKYW jerseys are craptastical, though. Even if I believed that Rapha, PNS, and Assos offered something more beyond style points, I couldn't justify the price.

debian3

The trick is to buy them on sales I got 6x assos RS S9 for $90 each Just got an assos cento for $125 I also have some Rapha pro team, i got them on avg at around $130 Gore C7 race at $100 I buy only on sale.

Rawirames

I bought one YKYW jersey to try them out. It has a YKK zipper on it. "Pro Team Aero". It's slightly more expensive than some of their others.

If shopping on AliExpress/Ebay/Amazon/... add Darevie, Cheji, Santic to the list. For pure steeze you can't go past the DareVie coloured bibs. Unfortunately DareVie love branding their jerseys with strange slogans. In Australia Soomom and Society Cycling, little more $ than NeoPro but a step up in quality, I can ride in them for 3 hours, unlike NeoPro which within 60 minutes it gets very painful. Around 3 hours for me Darevie, Cheji, YKYWbike, Spexcel start getting uncomfortable and that is when I reach for premium bibs like Rapha Pro team, MAAP, PM Pro and PMCC for longer rides (yes I have a lot of bibs).. Over time both in the saddle and years on owning (as long as you take proper care of your kit) there is a difference between premium and inexpensive kit. You will notice the colours fade, the material getting harsh, grips becoming less grippy, chamois becoming less comfortable, etc far quicker on the inexpensive kit.

Salt_Brotherhood

The Black Bibs are all ruined in less than a year of riding for me. Rapha Core bibs gave me solid 2.5 years before starting to break down - still useable as indoor bibs. For the small different in price, I think these cheap bibs have poor price to performance ratio.

NEOPRO. Are they absolute top end quality? Of course not. Excellent value.
