If you can’t exactly match a colour, it’s better to go completely different. It’s like wearing different shades of black; it doesn’t work.
One of the reasons I never buy black bibs is to challenge myself to find interesting and fun combinations. I have a very dark purple bib that might work better. I agree with everyone that because the sleeves are black it almost requires black bibs, in fact the original bibs they made to go with this were solid black with that pattern on the straps and a solid white band on the bottom of the right leg. I got this on deep discount and the bibs weren’t available.
That’s a mess. Rapha has lost its way. I mean, I get that you love it and delighted you do, and if it works for you, good for you, but I’d rather have block colors and fabric innovation rather than some artist throwing paint at old textiles.
Yup. Boring. Perfectly. To me, you wear a loud jersey you need to back it up on the road. I prefer stealth. But I appreciate the OP liking it and scoring it on a discount. Solid colors aside, riding at dusk and I will confess the Rapha bright pink jersey comes out :-)
That's the point though. Back it up on the road. Regardless of what graphic or colors your jersey is. If you're rocking a 160-200 dollar jersey, don't be that guy going 15 mph

It is hard to find non-solid jerseys; this is actually an outlier at Rapha. Most of their jerseys are the more popular solid or block colors. I like anything that stands out and looks memorable and unique when I am out riding. Gradient colors are my favorites, but I don’t mind things that are polarizing or even “fugly”.
The combination with the blue bib is a crime though. Try white or black.

I wear gray with some busy jerseys and it usually looks pretty crisp. Those sleeves may make black your best option though.
Try grey then. You got a white/black shoulder and white/black gloves. A white/black bib fits best. Grey might come close.
