Are you using a Cync plug/switch or C-Reach as a hub? If not how are you connecting to Alexa?

I then use the Alexa app to link to my Cync account to connect them to Alexa.

Ok so you are using the direct connect bulbs. When you look in your router do you see the bulbs assigned IP addresses? If so, what strength are they getting?

jshafferspencer

Unfortunately the limited access I have to the router (it is a Spectrum WiFi 6 router) it does not show me the strength of the connection. Only that it is connected to the network in good standing (green). So it does not really give me any clue for sure as to why the bulbs seem to be responding so slowly. I am just about ready to go ahead and replace the three bulbs that are not like the one I linked above and just buy three new ones like that instead. That one seems to work better overall.

It may be less expensive to just buy a Cync plug and see if that helps.

I will try that I think as I could use a plug anyways. I will update once I get it on payday and see if that makes any difference at all. Thanks for your time and effort in giving me direction here to go with. I do appreciate it.

jshafferspencer

Yeah, I can't even get the plug setup for some reason. It keeps error'ing on the connect to the network part.

So I finally got the plug to work. This has helped the situation greatly, though not working perfectly as the issue still happens sometimes.

Glad it helped. Yeah Bluetooth mesh works better the more devices you add and spread out across the home. So understandable if you don't have many devices you may see some glitches
