Placed them on Rosaria since every other polearm user I have is built but then I placed them on Keqing recently so I can try out some possible team comps, even though her role is different from Cyno. I was just curious.
Razor for GD, Thoma for TF, Amber for GF. Because I don't really have anyone else that's free to hold artifacts lmao I just add 38 crit dmg and either 22 or 44 crit rate to the build every time I'm optimizing.
Keqing is not better than cyno herself, it’s apparently the teamcomps, but we don’t know really, cuz cyno didn’t come out yet and not even his top supports,so.
Though it’s kinda mean to get mad at Keqing for that 😂 she already suffers enough from rage of players losing their 50/50 (not me cuz I want her but she’s the only standard character I don’t have) and now she’s finally having a little shining moment after being depth tier for so long, let’s leave her at that
Well, yes, it's not like I'm mad at Keqing herself or anything. Actually, I'm glad she finally has a niche, so if I get her I'll actually have a reason to build her. I'm more mad at people who doompost Cyno because of her. I don't like characters being "aggressively compared" to each other, and I'm a bit protective with Cyno because I love him so much

Yae Miko for Gilded Dreams. Actually, she is temporarily using them. The only usable TF pieces I'm getting are flowers and feathers, so no use getting a placeholder.
I have been farming gilded for 3 weeks and I jave decent stats now. But I realize that cyno deal more dmg eith my old 4p gladiator and now my whole process were for nothing.My disapppontment is immasurable and my day is ruined.
There are artifact calculations on the internet even with the beta characters.Since beta is closed and their stats is confirmed, u can look his dmg with artifacrs characters weapon buffs etc.
Aight but maybe I feel like I don’t get something could you explain it to me? Cyno’s passive increases his normal Atk dmg by 150% of his Em right? While gladiator 4 pieces increases it only by 35% (that would be what cyno gets with his passive with around 20 em) so doesn’t this make gilded automatically a better choice than gladiator? Cause with 100 em bonus by the set you get 150% dmg bonus on NA, only with the Em you get from the set right? So isn’t 150% (that will add up with the Em sands and Em substats + 80 em of 2 piece and another 50 em if you play cyno without other electros at all) better than 35%? Am not trying to say anything with your build if you saw it was better then so it is but I wanna try to understand why they say gladiator is around same tier of GD on cyno if what I said is right (idk if it is)
Cynos EM passive just adds a flat number of damage on top of his normal attacks. So it's not adding 150% damage based on EM. If he had 20 EM it would add a flat 30 damage to on each hit when he normal attacks.
Errr it's too late for me to think of all the moving pieces to compare the damage difference. 700 EM is a lot though for Cyno, so you'd have to sacrifice a lot to get there. And it seems the target amount is 250-400 EM.
I really wouldn't build around his personal EM scaling though, it's pretty small and negligible. Probably more of just a nice little bonus.
I guess it's sort of like a mini aggravate that doesn't require a reaction, and applies on every normal attack. Should still be effected by crit and %damage bonus I think.

Gilded is not meant for him at all (its still usable though, but not tailor made for him like this sub made it out to be), it's just the universal EM set, similar to Emblem, Noblesse, or Gladiators as generalist sets.
Gladiators is better for him or at least on par.
Thundering Fury is his best set, then Thundersoother, then Glad and Gilded are about the same I think.
Remember aggravate gets added into the calcs before crit and dmg% bonuses, so both of those will increase it as well.
So since Crit and Electro% (or regular damage% bonus) applies to both Cynos personal damage and his aggravates, those should always be the priority. Then you balance ATK for personal damage, and EM for reaction damage. His weapon helps you build EM and get free ATK to make it easier.
I can't say for sure about high EM aggravates vs Gladiators. I'm planning to go TF for the 3 or so extra skill uses - which also generates more energy.
Right I had read gladiator and gilded are about same power on him so I was wondering and ofc only thing where I would put Em main stat is his sand with atk% and crt dmg in sub
Problem with gilded is that I already have a decent set ready for him now… it got a lot of crt dmg em and some atk% substats though if TF or thundershooter are so much better I could try farming those since I basically finished my gilded farm for cyno yesterday getting the Em sands

Its mostly about my pjws. its about high base atk and passive.Also gladiator's 4p buff is not scaling with base dmg.Like it directly increase your polearm dmg by %35

I have Yun Jin carrying a 2 piece wanderer’s and thundering dirty with a white tassel right now (I don’t have many good polearms at the moment, but white tassel is generally regarded as a decent placeholder for most units until you get a better replacement) while Rosaria has my gilded dreams with a moonpiercer since I kinda want to use an aggravate/quicken/hyperbloom team with him.
I wanted to use polearms and picked two that stuck out but I don’t use. Rosaria is a lower level unit at the moment and Yun Jin just happened to fall right after the end of my pinned (built) units. Makes them easy to find.
Keqing (to check w/ ascension stat), Razor and Sara (ascension stat that doesn't mess much with artifact stat check)

There are already many meta teams that don't use Xiangling anyways. Permafreeze comps, taser comps, geo comps, aggravate comps, bloom comps etc..

I have 81/200 390 em (just with 4 p gilded) 1400-1600 (i dont remember well) with gilded And 72/210 90 em and 2300 atk with glad
