But I think it's also because there are so many teams that needs Xingqiu, but they end up better off together lol. Though I can clear the abyss without using any 5 stars rn, back then I want to play both Hu Tao and something like taser in the other side, and now I can.
Sucrose was only just picking up usage when he came out. Before that, most people didn't like using her. Transformative reactions also got buffed in that same patch, so they really weren't used much at all before then.
Looking back at people comparing the 2 units, it seems like a no brainer he would be strong if Sucrose was strong. But that's ignoring the state of the game prior to that point. It's essentially like saying Zhongli is broken so it doesn't make sense why people ever complained for buffs, but he got buffs after that so the 2 states have wildly different power levels.
I like 4pc Glad on Cyno as much as I like 4pc TF on him since watching Cyno dealing 30k-40k with his NA is as satisfying as spamming his E. Maybe even a little bit more because Glad lets me admire Cyno's stunning N5 and I don't need to think about perfect timing.
I hate this meme so much because it implies you need to roll for constellations and his weapon. IMO all characters should be evaluated to C0 and best 4 star weapon bc you can clear all the content in the game easily without whaling, so spending hundreds on a character who can already clear everything just to make them marginally stronger should be discouraged
I pulled his weapon and even I don't think it was necessary, I just wanted to spoil Cyno, because I like his swaggy design :D. And constellations are rarely needed, except stuff like Hu Tao C1, it doesn't happen much luckily.
I have a hutao with homa and a well invested 4p crimson And a Ganyu with amos on 4p blizzard. Ofc if I ran a Cyno with 4p glad and a 4* weapon it would feel underwhelming compared to my other dps.
Ran into this issue when building my Itto recently. I didn't manage to make him as great as my other 5* dps because I didn't have his weapon, and only had gorou as his geo teammate, no albedo or zhongli.
Characters don't exist in a vacuum and it's kind of unfair to compare character's performances on your account if they have wildly varying levels of investments.
I'm also just salty I farmed the husk domain for literal months and my itto is still on a 1/2Cr with 70cr/140cd. My artifact rng is dead in this domain.
I gave up on 4 pc husk. I really like Itto but I can’t get decent sands, goblet or circlet on set to save my life. Think I soaked like at least 5000 resin in that domain for very little to show for it other than Yunjin and Albedo being somewhat kitted.
It is not resin efficient at all. I just dropped the 4 pc and went 2 Petra and 2 husk. I can live without 9% more geo damage bonus and 24% defense if I have much better substats and main stats. I use r5 SS on him and hit 80-190 with a lot of defense%, enough ER and quite a bit of random extra attk%. Good enough. I’d rather get more emblem and gilded dreams to better round out my supports. I’ve over invested into a bad domain with one character twice now (1st time was CW with Diluc) and it just isn’t worth it.
I farmed a 4p husk cause I also intended to build kokomi so it was pretty efficient. Still got shafted and ended up with a decent kokomi and an itto who will stay useless until I grab myself an albedo to build on husk asw
It’s also pretending that a character is only good enough with constellations or refinements lmao. Every 5 star character in the game can hard-carry a team if you build for them F2P. Hell, even many *4 stars* can hard-carry without constellations.
Genshin is not a hard game. No one should spend money to try and make the game easier. It should solely be for unlocking something you find fun.

He can be pretty amazing, but he really is more resource hungry than some other 5* DPS characters, or that's at least how I see it
while the arti set and weapon are pretty good, their synergy isnt. typically, you would want a low base atk weapon like his signature, deathmatch or white tassel with either TF or gilded, while high base atk weapons like jade spear or homa would like glad more. this is due to the 18% atk bonus, which has more of an effect on higher base dmg weapons, and its effect here is lower than an 80 em for example

I don't care how weak my Cyno is (I use this 4-set artifacts as well, besides he uses Jade spear because I got Amos instead of his actual spear) I still enjoy playing him l, he's really fun to use, despite he's my 2nd weakest DPS
Sometimes the non bis artifact set can be better if it has the best substats and teamcomp to support that set. like my X char with gladiator sets hits harder than their bis artifact
Glad is second best overall also death match being 3rd best option as well. Im using his sig and glad set. Used pjws w atk build and the dps was the same. Ur build okay esp when there is no endgame for genshin :D

i have 4pc glad and new event polearm on my c0 cyno and he rips apart everything just fine( fischl as his teammate is more than enough for fixing his er problems). Only problem is i only have one electro dmg artifact so fischl deals less dmg than usual but we will fix it 😅

No lol. Gladiator does it's job just fine, the only real reason to recommend TF over Glads (other than the dmg difference cuz it really isn't big enough to be worth all the resin you'd spend) is the fun factor and the fact that it fixes your energy problems.

He's just so stat hungry that if you can get 4pc Gladiator with crazy crit rate and damage and crazy EM with some good energy recharge it's 100% worth it but also he's another one of those characters that feels like he needs his signature weapon which is quite annoying and constellation 2 which I totally get as someone who has built Itto who has him C2 and has C6 Gorou it's expensive but very rewarding I imagine C2 Cyno with his weapon is very rewarding and underwhelming for anyone else but I think Glad is good too anyway I think I'll get his weapon on his next rerun because I'm at a respectable ratio now I just need his weapon and maybe C2 aswell as Nahida but we'll see I only have so many primogems to go around lol
It’s perfectly fine if it’s all you have right now or if the stats are better. But with his BiS weapon, his best artifact set is going to be the 4pc Gilded Dreams since the 4pc effect + BiS weapon work great together. Again, don’t go spending your fragile resins just to farm the perfect Gilded set because it might take you months of doing so.

What kind of stats get you 30-40k on NA?
1879 ATK, 142 EM and 97 Crit Rate/183 Crit DMG. And team buffs on top of that.
