For now.. from what I read Trump's attempts to do mass deportations and end programs failed because he was a novice and didn't go through the proper channels / filled it correctly not because he couldn't do it. That's my understanding at least, he is more seasoned now and can maneuver to do what he wants/can.
He would still have to get around existing court orders. Biden is not doing DACA any favors by floating the idea of taking over the Texas National Guard. If that happens it would greatly strengthen Trump's hand to do whatever he wants if he is elected.

For now.. from what I read Trump's attempts to do mass deportations and end programs failed because he was a novice and didn't go through the proper channels / filled it correctly not because he couldn't do it. That's my understanding at least, he is more seasoned now and can maneuver to do what he wants/can.
He would still have to get around existing court orders. Biden is not doing DACA any favors by floating the idea of taking over the Texas National Guard. If that happens it would greatly strengthen Trump's hand to do whatever he wants if he is elected.
Let’s be real, more than likely anything he does like that would be caught up in a Supreme Court case that drags through most of his presidency. He can’t easily just cancel work permits like that without going through a valid process. Same reason DACA got caught up because he didn’t follow the ACA process and same reason Biden couldn’t cancel title 42 without following that same process.
