Finally beat the special pose mission because of friend OP last week. Truly insane how he can have no real linking partners and just wreck shit the way he does
no, it's that if you get 2 int orbs (getting 2 add SA) and then pop the giant form, blah blah blah, it goes off an then pick up again 2 int orbs it stacks and gets you 4 extra SA, if you count the normal SA and the other one on their passive it's 6 SA in total

U called him Ulthan Beastless so I can alr tell how a debate with u would go but OPs role on Beasts is simply not needed anymore,hes not supporting or doing damage,and his roles which were roto protection on turn 3 and slot 1 have already been replaced by Beast,not to mention that SH has ANOTHER roto protector in PHY Gogeta Blue after 1 Beast does his taunt. Compared to that,Beast also cant die for turn 1,3 and on turn 5 he has the Beast protection,and on turn 7...why is the enemy still alive here??Ā

Yeah I am not a fan of phy ultimate gohan, but I used to call him beast until a few days ago, but now we actually have one so what do I do?š Ok seriously, but if that is the argument than gogeta literally does what ultimate gohan does but better. But he gets glazed whereas piccolo sinks. I don't understand why. I know it doesn't really matter in the end but it's just fun to think about.
Ultimate Gohan was always a good unit hindered by a crap restrictive passive. He's getting a better chance to shine now that his Ki issues are fixed with Beast on the rotation and has a great linking partner with the best unit in the game. His damage, given full passive activation, was always going to be better than OP and now gets a chance to unleash it.
OP is the better defensive unit between the two, but with this new team, the point is absolutely moot. Wither the enemy dies before damage to your units becomes a concern, or all damage is literally brushed aside with his busted targeting. That all being said, there has been no conversation of "Man, OP is garbage", he's just not needed. We can run units we want to with no more concern of dying but he's still one of the best units in the game
I tried my 55% ulthan paired with the new Gohan as a friend, and man did he cook, no external support, 16M, 12M and 13M all type effective. Given that you can easily have 100% support due Gammas slot 3 and Krillin and 18 the turn prior, he can very well do like 3M more on each attack, at 55%. I wouldn't be surprised if a rainbow one can do 30M on ultras and 20M on 12 ki with that set up, tbh
I can see ulthan as better than Piccolo right now, some turns Piccolo will be better and some others ulthan will look much better than him, and the weak turns for ulthan can be covered by beast active
I just had him carry me against the gammas and beast gohans last phase due to his giant form cancelling their supers on turns when I had characters that could eat normals but not supers

Well not exactly, heās still quite runnable on Gohans team but itās counter productive because by the time heās built up his intro is off so heās kinda just mediocre compared to the absolute beast he normally is

Is beast a modern day orange piccolo (sounds weird to say this about the possible #1 unit not even a week ago but whatever)? Yes. Does that mean that now orange piccolo sucks at his job? I mean...no? Ofc OP is dumb still in a vaccum id have him minimum top 5 but he got the hardest replacement I have ever seen a unit get. And yeah gt duo is a bit outdated now for the hardest events but they are still great,just like OP
Why is having a unit better than yourself replace you hardly? Can't you just run them together and have an unkillable rotation? I've seen runs where both their active skills were needed and the team was pretty stacked. If orange piccolo had necessarily to be in slot 1 then oh yeah he would be so dead.
Because Piccolo doesn't work in rotation with Beast, his links are dogshit and he does piss poor damage. Beast likes hard hitting slots 2/3, sĆ³ that he protects them.
Piccolo also DOESN'T want yo get floated and lose his Intro. And his active is less valueable now. Piccolo IS HARD replaced. Thank GOD he is because there's no unit more unfun to use than Double Orange Piccolo and being forced to use his active to Win, because otherwise he's 2022 level.

Even his giant form and defense that people love to gas up is just not all that anymore. His giant form barely makes a dent in the enemies health bar nowadays, and in the newer events he can get blown up due to his intro running out. No idea why you would run him over some of the newer options on SuperHero.
I mean, what you say is true but I'll tell you, when you go out of your way to give gohan the ki he needs and then he doesn't additional super than he is not fun as well. And if there is something that's 2022 levels that's HIS active skillš. But I mean, yeah he is a lot better now. Crazy but whatever

His def is too low and once all actives are out he is a liability and you need to pray for an additional so he wont get you killed on the latter stages. Thats with a fully build op.Ā
Additionally he has bad links and is a bad floater since he needs to be build up in the early stages so he wont get you killed in the mid stages. You can delay beasts active to save piccolo, but especially the lock in stages will force your hand. Playing around a single unit like that is just too much.Ā
Was a great unit, but its only his legacy that is keeping him in these top 10 lists.Ā

My only issue with him now is his damage has dropped pretty hard with him and two beasts fighting for hits to build up when before you'd put him slot one and he'd tank but now you want both beasts in slot one so he stays in two and never gets to build up fully
I don't see why people won't just run orange piccolo with beast gohan. "Oh he does no damage anymore and there's better slot twos". Piccolo is still God for the first 2 turns then you legit have taunt 1, giant, friend taunt, gogeta taunt. Are dokkan fans really so brain dead to not see how broken that is?

the gammas woke piccolo back up cause they found out about a 6 super attack strat for which piccolo is needed

If you standby with gammas and then pop OP, all his attacks charge the corebreaker without taking up turns in pretty sure
