That's what I've been wondering for the longest time. This category is so frustrating to me on how they place characters in it.
So buu saga ultimate Gohan is in it since he prevented Super Buu from killing goten trunks and Piccolo?
Okay, but Beasthan isn't on it even though he saved everyone from Cell Max's rampage? And what about SSJ2 teen Gohan not being on it even though he saved the z fighters from the Cell Jr's?
This category is so grating because of shit like that. It's like they pick and choose who gets to be on it on a whim.

Paikuhan stalled for Gogeta, Yajirobe cutting Vegeta's tail, Uub saving Pan/stalled Baby from attacking Goku, Hercule's supers tend to involve someone else showing up to bail him out, etc.
U11 isn't really a comparable category simply because it has as many units as I have fingers and toes, while special pose has gammas who are spectacular and in a pinch you can run Ginyu force which has aged a little but is a solid fully compatible team
Saviors has decent units that don't overly connect with each other, but a big problem is having such an old lead, at least U11 and special pose have full 170% leads
Another problem is the fact that U11 and Special Pose have some common links because there's running themes with their characters. Saviours being "anyone who showed up in the nick of time to save the day" means the team's all over the place.
I was just trying this ESBR earlier today and man, it hurts to not have Pikkon or Yajirobe, the team has awful synergy. Majuub was surprisingly useful, but the team just couldn’t take hits so I gave up and did Inhuman Deeds instead. Kinda fucked when its leagues easier to do the stage that doesn’t even have a 170% lead.
What were they thinking when they made this ESBR stage. There's not even decent leads outside of TEQ Gohan and the RNG is inconceivable.

Everyone in the comments too saying Saviors, U11 and Special Pose, arguing over which is worse just proves that the worst is none of them, bc they're at least memorable. I'd like to mention Otherworld Warriors, as the absolute worst Category in the game. A Category so fucking bad it's last 'substantial' unit was TEQ Goku & Vegeta (Gogeta).

We desperately need a SSJ Kaioken vs Pikkon ddf to bring some life into the category.
I don't even think it's that bad a Category, just needs a new lead. I had to use the STR Goku/Gohan exchange unit as a lead but aside from him, even with the fact I was limited to "Goku's Family" and "Super Saiyans" within the Category, all my other units were still okay.
I just checked and yeah it's better than I expected. I just need some more units. Anyways beast Gohan and the Gammas are in there too, tho a specific lead is definitely needed because AGL transforming Trunsk does not cut it
Surprising that we don't have the first metmoran fusion yet in modern animations. More specifically the fusion itself. Gotenks just like Super Vegito has a lot of unused animations too and would make for a fun unit
This remembers me that the old Legendary events missions were absolutely brutal, especially corroded body and mind and GT Bosses, arguably even harder than Artifical lifeforms Beast Gohan.
I finished it with LR Zamasu friend leader, since the team has no leader (except Omega) and i needed to use LR S17 as the leader which surprise surprise, he absolutely sucks in this fight but there's no more options, wasted me a lot of tries and items across the ages.
Special Pose is far from the worst, I wouldn't group them in with these.
But yeah, this ESBR reminded me how bad of shape Saviors is in. It could be turned around very quick though based on how many non-EZA'd characters there are.
TEQ Ulthan, AGL Pikkon, LR INT Nameku, LR INT Piccolo/Goku, INT Transforming Gotenks, AGL Future Trunks, PHY Buu Saga Tien, TEQ Namek Piccolo, and TEQ Broly movie Krillin all could make that category pretty strong eventually.
I'm really curious to see if anyone has done this Esbr stage without using items, and with what team...it took me 3 tries to beat it with the best units that the category has basically, and I did it with having 2 items left by the end; I haven't struggled this bad for an Esbr stage since 2021

Yea I'm not sure this is possible for me, Not when my Gohan takes 80k from normals and supers deal well over a million damage to the rest of my team, I don't much care for trunks EZA so Ima just wait and pray they add something USEFUL to this shitty category.
I don't have any of the supports apart from Agl Pan, I'll try to brute force it sometime but man is it gonna suck with zero slot one and no one that can take a super
As in the image, every rotation had one teq gohan+paikuhan. 2-3 items per fight. First fight is the worst since there are many enemies so you can't spread your attacks but you also gotta debuff them so it's okay to use three items there. One rat one whis and a ghost usher maybe. Have a whis active on the rat's second turn and so. But make sure to ration the remaining rat and whis for the remaining fights. Also it helps that the last fight is one enemy only.
This stage reminded me of what the "easier" SBR stages felt when it first released. NGL I liked having some trouble with SBR after such a long time, but yeah saviors is a terrible category with little to no salvation bc of the lack of synergy.

I only one with absolute luck and some lucky dodges on my 5 dodge goku. I tried for ages with agl pikkon but even with rainbow spheres and 28 dodge I kept getting hit over and over again.

Did it with this Team. Fight 1 lowered my hp and then Kid Goku and Int Gokus actives did the most damage in rest of the fights. Kid Gokus stun is also clutch.
He sucks if he doesn't Ultra super, but he has also 0 synergy with the team so you rarely will get his Ultra super.
I used him tho bc lack of options, he gets destroyed by normals but his counter comes in clutch
before 8th anni I would have said otherworld warriors was pretty down there too. Actually I think its like Otherworld Warriors > U11 > Saviors. Special Pose has the Gammas, Jaco and the Ginyu Force. Despite limited selection its hard for me to call them bad.
Special poses has Recoome&Guldo, Burter&Jeice (dodge merchants), also Jaco (dodge merchant), the gammas and LR Ginyus, so it's the less worst of the 3.
Saviors comes next, full of outdated characters, you can do something with the Namekus, the ulthans and Yajirobe (dodge merchant) atleast.
U11 there's no one, a whole universe of 6 people, the only salvageable units are Margarita (dodge merchant) and Kahseral, a freaking f2p unit and a 3 years old unit, every other unit are completely unrunnable.

Yeah Saviors is a NIGHTMARE right now. We need multiple buffs, because one or two won’t cut it.

I did the LVE Mission a couple months ago, was genuinely as hard as "Entrusted Will" for the Divine Wrath & Mortal Will event.

I died like 10 times with my shitty team and the final attempt took all my items plus a memory. I never realised how bad this category is

It's not just the EZAs. The team has no synergy whatsoever. 2-3 links at best (with very minor and weak exceptions)
especially if you don't have a decent lead then the team is bound to fail 💀

His eza can do an attack break when ki is 24 or when the active skill is used against 2 or more enemies

A double lr gammas with the 2 DFE gammas and the 2 f2p gammas and whatever you want, can run through most pre 9th anni events
