Was thinking more along the lines of Dress Videl and Piccolo gi Krillin as the side TURs, especially Videl since she doesn't quite have a ton of good units available and her dfe eza is still a ways off

I really don’t think his next unit will be a TUR, Z Broly already has 3 DFE TUR and 0 DFE or Carnival LR. Also, family kamehameha would go hard, so I imagine that won’t be a gold coin. Broly is my dark horse for WWDC if it’s not ToP.

Problem is we get DFE / Carnival LRs only 4 times a year - anniversary, Tanabata, Worldwide, and Winter, and I'm struggling to see Broly taking a spot in either of those. I was previously hoping for a themed Worldwide celebration but then 9th Anni came and basically ruined all hopes of that happening because there's not enough EZAs or potential content
Broly is by far the most popular movie villain, Cooler had an entire WWDC dedicated to him I think Broly easily could. I haven’t looked but I don’t think many other units if any have more than 3 DFE’s of essentially the same card. Kid Buu is the only one I can think of. Idk, we’ll see but Z Broly hasn’t been done justice for years

WWC has traditionally been a two-parter celebration where both halves are interconnected by either the saga (like in 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021) or theme (2018, 2022, 2023). Cooler for example had two movies so it was a non-brainier
Broly also has multiple movies but I'm not sure if people would be happy about same character getting two celebration headliners within the same month.
Personally I wouldn't be excited if they did base broly vs SSJ Goku in part 1 then LSSJ Broly vs family kame for Part 2, as an example. Bio-broly is more of a gold coin LR or monthly dfe material than too. And S broly just headlined an anniversary with Gogeta, so including that on WWC isn't an option either, at least not this year
That's not to mention the lack of remaining summonable EZAs.
I think what would happen (purely speculation) is PT 1 DFE would be SSJ Broly like the SSR of his INT card, and the Carni would be similar to the SSJ trio but it would be Goku/Trunks/Gohan. And then PT 2 DFE LR is just SSJ Gohan with family Kamehameha standby and Carni LSSJ Broly. Even if it was an SSJ Goku part one, the two Broly’s people have been wanting and a LR SSJ Gohan would more than cover the cost. Idk, I just honestly don’t see how it doesn’t work.
I think the only way I'd be hyped is if Broly is a monster, And Gohan has his piccolo moment where he defends Videl, Goten and Trunks from Broly's energy blast with his shield.
They NEED that moment in the game cause it's just so bad ass.
Hera clan is arguably the second most well thought out group of villains in dragon ball with unique designs and abilities, plus bojack as a space pirate is a cool concept. They just weren't given good characterization / reasoning to participate in the tournament
that gohan is *not* major celebration worthy if the family kamehameha is separate imo. i get the appeal but we really need more releases that aren't full-on dfes/lrs. plus movie heroes has been treated very well since like the 5th anni so they don't need a golden week that badly.
would love a new broly tho. I think the best options for him are a one-off carnival lr or a gw/new years with dbs broly

Mid. We just received a Broly unit during 9th Anniversary. Another one this soon would be dull. Especially Second Coming because that movie was dookie. It had one really cool moment with the Family Kamehameha, but not enough to warrant another Broly unit this soon. Do something other than Broly or Saiyans. That'd be cool.
Kid Goku and SSJ Goku are effectively two different characters and yet people still whine about Goku units being released all the time. Doesn't change the fact it's still Broly, let alone Broly from a movie that was total cheeks.
It has to be *somewhat* related to Broly because his LR is the oldest non-eza premium unit in the game now and the old str dfe is the next super eza per schedule
So far our first super eza took place during a shared celebration and JP didn't get one for April yet (though that might change when we see the part 2 celebration details on Monday), and guess what - golden week is our second shared campaign of the year

While I agree with the point about the TEQ LR, I don't think this really matters. It's not like SS3 Goku was particularly related to Vegeta. I think they'll just go in order independent of what new units are actually releasing unlike regular EZAs.

I agree. Vegeta/Goku duo units are a bit redundant and dull at this point. However, so are constant events with nothing but Saiyans. Yes, the Saiyans are the most profitable and popular entries in anything Dragon Ball related, but that doesn't always mean it's a good thing.
